Description:

I figured I would host a ATC swap for people who have little to no experience to making ATC's. People with little to no crafting, drawing, or painting experience are welcome in this. For this swap you will create 1 ATC for 1 partner.

This will be a long sign up period on this one. So more people can join and have a little while longer to make some ATC's.

This is a Newbie Friendly swap, so feel free to join. Also if you are needing help raising your rates. Remember to be creative. Happy Swapping!

Any newbies interested in doing a private trade (more ratings!) let me know--I have a packet of 10 ATC's I would trade for something off my profile list. That would give you some sample ATC's to look at, and give a boost to your collection. Send me a private message and let me know.

THANK YOU for having this-- I've just joined the site and got really excited about creating ATCs, but all the swaps seem to require 5 completed and rated swaps. This will be great!

Yes thank you so much for this!! I am excited to do my first ATC swap, plus I need all the help I can get at raising my ratings since I had issues with getting bad ratings back in 2007 when I got overwhelmed by joining (and hosting) too many swaps at once ;) Anyhow, one question I do have is where do I get the cards for doing the ATC artwork on? From my understanding I can draw on them, paint on them, put stickers on them, put beads on them or perhaps things like sequins, glitter and such and you can also use fabric for decorating them if I'm correct about that but I just wasn't sure what size the cards are that you have to buy for making the ATC's are they just unlined index cards or something? I'm excited to get into trading ATC's I think it could be really fun and cool to see the little works of art from all over the world :D

angeldiva, ATC's must be 2.5" by 3.5". That's the only rule. You can buy blanks at hobby lobby for around $3 for 10 sheets, or you can just make your own with heavy cardstock, etc.

Thank you for the info Chelsea!! I'd like to get them pre cut/store bought because I'm afraid I won't cut them all nice and even LOL I don't think I have hobby lobby stores around here, so hopefully Michael's craft store or Joann's will have them, hopefully!!! fingers crossed

Please help! The website won't allow me to see the partner I send to, and I'd like to send out the card before the deadline! Thanks.
