I'm SO sorry to those of you who had originally signed up for this swap! I was out of the country (on a cruise with no Internet access) and silly me, I did not assign partners before I left. I'm opening this up again for 2 days to hopefully get my participants back! Are you trying to lose weight? Are you into healthy eating and fitness? Then this swap is for you. You will need to buy a journal. It can be as simple as the black-and-white composition notebooks or it can be a journal from the dollar store. Decorate the covers to make it special. Throughout the journal, you will decorate it in a way to inspire your partner to keep at her weight loss journey! For example, you might include healthy recipes. You might make a collage with special inspiring words. You might make a list of things to do instead of pigging out on a piece of cake. You might make a list of good workout music (or even include a mix cd hidden in an envelope on one of the pages). Maybe cut and paste helpful advice from fitness magazines. We've all been there; feeling like giving up on our weight loss journey. Think about things that would inspire you, and then put them in the journal for your partner. At the end, your journal should be completed so your partner has a wealth of information to go to when she is feeling low. However... KEEP EVERYTHING IN THE JOURNAL HEALTHY AND POSITIVE! That means, nothing that might trigger an eating disorder or low self-esteem. Nothing like "you're fat", no hints for crash diets, etc. Be creative and make something that you'd love to receive :) You'll have a month to work on this.No recent 1s or 3s. |
