I've been trying to find a pen pal friend for my kiddos. But I haven't had any luck! I've seen some swaps for Pen Pals for Kids here, but the age range doesn't seem to work. You need to agree to follow through with this pen pal! Encourage your kids to write the letters, and make sure they get to the post office. This is for kids! Age range is 6 to 10 years. Girls and boys are both encouraged to write. Each child will have 2 pen pals, so it will mean a total of 4 letters to write (2 for the first letter, and 2 replies). I'm going to open this up to International. If English isn't the first language, please be sure you can translate into English. Rating 4.9 or above only, please, and notice age range! Please post comments about your kiddos in the comments section. If you get a letter, (mailed before the deadline) you need to rate a 5. Hearts are up to you. Only sign up if you'll follow through!

I have 3 children, but am only signing up for 2 of them. Annika and David are twins, turning 8 on July 15, and will be starting 3rd grade in August. Annika is typical girl - loves Hello Kitty, pink, Hannah Montana, Wizards of Waverly Place, animals, Barbies ... David is into sports, Lego's, reading, and interested in history (seriously!).
Annika tends to write longer and more often, but if David gets mail, I'll be sure he writes back. After the first letter, I'd be ok with changing to email for them. We only speak English, but are learning some Spanish!

I am happy to join. My daughter Lily is 8 and she can't wait to get a penpal. She is a creative, open-minded girl and she loves making new friends. She writes often and always writes long chatty letters that she loves to decorate with stickers and drawings. Lily loves all cute and pink, Hannah Montana, Disney princesses and her favorite color is lilac. The only thing is that it might take a while for her letters to reach you from where we live (it usually takes about two weeks or less), so please be patient if you are my partner.
