Description:

Each swap participant will have ONE partner. You will create a handmade set of Runes for them, using whatever media appeals to you with the understanding that they MUST be functional! This means, nothing too large or too fragile to actually cast with. Some ideas include wood, ceramics, Sculpey, pretty stones, etc. For more information about Runes, please check out:

www.sunnyway.com/runes/

The important details:

1) You must make one COMPLETE AND FUNCTIONAL set of runes for your partner. Failing in either of these criteria should result in a lower rating from your partner.

2) While function is highly important, artistry is the soul of Swap-Bot, so please, consider the aesthetics of your runes as well. Sharpie pens and random rocks probably aren't enough effort, LOL.

3) Newbies are welcome, but MUST email me prior to the start of the swap. If I see that you have no ratings and have not contacted me, you will be banned.

4) Active swappers should have a rating of at least 4.5 and no recent no-sends.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have.

I'm sooo excited about this swap because I love making rune sets!

I have a question about "complete" and what that means. Are you including the debated "blank rune"? I don't usually make sets with the blank rune for the reasons given in the link you listed. But I didn't know if it was expected for this swap, and if it is, I'll definitely include one for my partner.

That's a great question! I think that the best option would be to include a blank rune, that way your partner has the option to use it....or not. HTH

I'm requesting a blood-free runeset for public health reasons, to be on the safe side.

Thank you Brooke for reminding me... I too request a bloodless set. Although I believe that is usually done when you make your own, for yourself, not as a gift for someone else. But I'd like to be safe and mention it any way. :)

This really is a great idea for a swap! I can't wait to get to work, I'll probably be starting tonight. :)
