Description:

This swap is the last of a series of swaps (there is another one with just 2 people, but everyone missed the deadline, so it's easier to just start up this second group.). Each month, we made Artist Trading Cards with letters from the Alphabet of Life to send to one partner. What is the "Alphabet of Life"? On a plaque I received from a friend it listed, in alphabetical order, ways to enjoy your journey! (For complete alphabet, please see my webpage: http://busycrowstudio.blogspot.com/2009/11/alphabet-of-life.html

And here are our next letters for this Swap: *W = Win Graciously (make one ATC with these words on it); X - Xeriscape - (make one ATC with this word on it); Y - Yearn for Peace (make one ATC with these words on it); and Z - Zealously Support a Worthy Cause...... ta dah! we will be through our Alphabet of Life series....I had first planned to frame mine, but then I found this cute little album where the cards fit perfectly, and it is small and portable, so I can share this wisdom with others.

Make each ATC the standard 2.5x3.5", any medium or style you choose. Use any graphics, images, etc., but the words must be readable on each card.

NOTE: if you are new to this swap, and want to catch up on previous letters, there are some participants that are willing to swap cards with the previous letters; just leave a comment at the bottom if you are interested.....

Xeriscaping refers to landscaping in ways that reduce or eliminate the need for supplemental water from irrigation. It is promoted in regions that do not have easily accessible, plentiful, or reliable supplies of fresh water, and is gaining acceptance in other areas as climate patterns shift.

The word xeriscaping is a portmanteau of xeros (Greek for "dry") and landscaping.
