Description:

This swap is for one handmade Christmas stocking full of 10 or more nice items for your partner! :-D (Some can be handmade.) Value of items should be at least $15 plus the cost of making the stocking itself. Please wrap the items so your partner can have the fun of opening them. Also, include a Christmas greeting card or tag signed by you to personalize it! This swap is sender’s choice. Have a wonderful time putting this package together and Merry Christmas!

A quick note about quality - only send items that you would be overjoyed to receive. Remember the purpose of this group is to spoil your partner.

• Make sure your profile is WELL filled out, in case your partner wants to send you profile based items.

• Please notify your sending partner either in a profile comment or a PM when you receive your package. That way, they will know it has arrived safely, rather than having to wait until you've opened all the presents in your stocking.

Guidelines: Due to the higher dollar value of this swap, I will NOT be able to angel. Participants must have been rated for 25 separate snail mail swaps, 4.95 rating or higher, all unresolved 1's or 3's will be closely reviewed. Known non-raters may also be banned. I will ban anyone that I feel might not be able to fulfill the swap requirements.

@marinda hosted a swap like this last year and it was so much fun. She is unable to host it this year, but kindly gave me permission to do so. Thank you so much @marinda )

The swap picture is the stuff I received in last year’s swap for @TheLostMitten .

I'm wondering if it would be acceptable to use a handmade stocking, ahem made by someone else? I mean to say, if one were to have cute handsewn stockings they bought at a charity craft fair, might that be ok, or is the intention strictly that the sender must make the stocking themselves? :)

I think that would be acceptable @TeaNi , as long as it is handmade, not mass produced.
