Welcome to the second Craft Social Swap! The theme for this swap is I Heart Craft Social and coincides with Valentine's Day.

Using the shape template provided on http://www.craftsocial.net, create a crafted item to send to your swap partner. You can craft the heart using any material, but it must fit within the size guidelines of the template and be able to fit into (at minimum) a 5.5" x 4.5" envelope or mailer.

Keep in mind that we have many international participants in Craft Social, so you may be required to mail your package overseas.

We will solicit pictures of the finished hearts and use them to create a photo collage on our Web site.

Awwww, cute idea! You have at least one UK participant in the swap now...

Great, Lixie! I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone creates.

Mailed mine today... I was a little sad to see my heart go. I think it is quite lovely! :)

Not only did I see the comment about mailing the hearts out without taking a photo, I charged the camera to take a photo... and I still sent them out without a photo... ::facepalm:: I'm just going to chalk that up to midterm grading stress... yeah... that's a good story! LOL

I took photos of mine, but they suck. If Amber C. could try to get a decent photo of it, I would be appreciative. My heart from Sara was really gorgeous, I couldn't be more pleased. I can't wait to see if Amber likes what I sent to her. It takes FOREVER to get to Canada! Plus, I mailed a day late....

My first try at swapping has not gone well. I mailed out my item on Feb. 1st and have not gotten any aknowledgment of receipt of it, and the item I was supposed to receive has not arrived yet at all.

I didn't get any sort of acknowledgment of my package, either. Kinda sad...

Hopefully they will turn up soon girls, I don't think the item I sent has arrived in Canada yet but I just received my heart today which my swap partner sent by the due date... Guess they call it snail mail for a reason...

I just received my package from Katie (sweetrustic). It's a lovely stuffed fabric heart. I don't know if she took a photo or not, but I'll snap one of it. It came from Australia here to Canada which actually is pretty great timing. Those of you still awaiting items or acknowledgement of items being received, don't give up yet. It can take a while through the mail sometimes and if your item is going to or from Canada, believe me, it can REALLY take some time.

The hosts of this swap, Sister Diane and Barbara, were so generous they sent me some lovely and unique hand crafted items to make up for the heart I never received. Sending a big thank you out to them.
