I'm a professional carpet/textile designer and live in MD (DC Metr). I'm married, no kids, 3 kitties. I'm 38 and am an artsy, crafty, gardener, love to cook, entertain friends, practice Yoga, dance (especially Nia) and take walks. I'm into living a sustainable lifestyle and am always trying to find ways to reuse, recycle & upcycle in my art and in my everyday life.

I'll watch just about any films but don't like to watch the same thing over and over. Like scary movies, drama, documentary, some foreign films and some comedy.

I'm a voracious reader and usually have several books going at once (one for book club and one for me). I'm also a magazine junkie but trying to break that habit.

I have way too many craft hobbies as most of us crafties do. I don't have any plans to learn new crafts but I do want to improve & "practice" the ones I already do. Weaving, knitting, card/collage/art cards, photography, jewelry making & sewing. I do a lot of mixed media art, love to use photo's, beads, stitching etc. I sometimes use the computer (PS or AI) to alter images. I collect quotes, turquoise/green pottery, heirloom/non invasive & native plants, beautiful textiles, craft materials, & bits of nature such as shells, seed pods, leaves & pine cones. Favorite colors are green, yellow, orange, teal, brown, black & white (sometimes red & purple). Love textures, mid century mod stuff, Retro-30-70's stuff and anything Nature inspired. I'm not really into kitchy, juvenile, or overly cutesy stuff so please save that for someone else who would love it. My tastes & style tend more towards graphics, sophisticated, architectural & organic.
