i like anything to do with knitting. My favorite yarns are: alpaca, hand dyed merino wool or hand dyed cotton, hand dyed sock yarns.

I'm a knitter too! My favourite yarns are anything nice! I enjoy felting my knits, but also like the odd unusual skein(s) just to have a play with. Depending where my spoiler is from, maybe I could be sent something local to you? Whatever it is, it will be a lovely surprise on Christmas day!

i am in to native american things, but i also like unuasal stuff things that are funny or wacky but don't mind what i get

I am not hard to please, like most anything. Love candy, cookies, coffee (not flavored, but good, rich robust coffee), Chai tea, and love trying new foreign foods. I just started card making and am so addicted to it, so would love anything with which to create new cards, especially rubber stamps and stamping supplies since I have none of those yet. Paper punches, border punches, paper shapers, brad and eyelet setters, any supplies since my stash is rather meager yet. I love to bake and collect unique cookie cutters and cookbooks, sprinkles & cookie and cake stencils. I also like sewing,( I LOVE and collect vintage fabric and buttons) crafting, reading, craft magazines (especially those related to paper crafting) and love cuddly slippers, gloves, socks, hats, scarves and warm items since I live in an area where it gets bitter cold in winter. I don't knit or crochet. Can't wait for this to start and see who my partner is!

My profile has all my likes and dislikes! What do we do if our partner doesn't have much of a profile? Should we email them?

I just realized I hadn't put in a wish list and all my profile says is that I'm a scattered weird knitter who likes too much TV and too much music. My newest obsession is socks and sock yarn. Not so much the wacky checked self-patterning, but blues and greens and maybe some red or purple. I have all the needles I could possible ever use or store, but yarn is like Jell-o -- there's always room! I love earrings, but not necklaces. My neck is very short. Handmade nearly anything will be loved and appreciated. I could ramble on for pages, but we've all got shopping and crafting to do.

Right now, I'm loving horses, holiday songs by Ella Fitzgerald, Ray CHarles, Frank Sinatra, etc, anything with owls and octopuses :-) But please don't send me anymore yarn/knitting stuff. I've got too many! Hahah :D thank you and may all of you here have a very jolly season!

Hi, Connie Kenney, My apologies for not yet sending your box of goodies. I have to admit I have been a bit overwhelmed the last couple of weeks. I just closed a discrimination case against my boss at work, and will now be retiring on January 3rd! I also have been sick with the flu. Still, no excuse. I picked out some really nice things for you, and hope you will find them worth waiting for. The box will go into the mail tomorrow, 21 Dec., which means you will not get it until after Christmas, I expect.
