Since I see soooo many atc swaps, I figure I must be missing out on building a nice collection. BUT - I'm afraid to join with experienced atc makers for fear of being rated down because "I didn't do it right". SO.. here it is. If you are new to ATC's and want a chance to try your hand at it, here it is! ARTIST TRADING CARD DEMO YOU choose what theme you want to use. Whether it be kawaii, food themed, flowers, whatever you think is beautiful. Make sure your embellishments are securely attached and please make it sturdy. Of course, experienced atc makers are welcome as well! With all this being said, please rate a 5 if the swap requirements are met. Swap requirements: make 1 atc and put some effort into it, give it your best shot!! Make it with pride! AND send it to your partner on time. Include a note with the title of your atc, your user name, and the name of this swap. Write your username, email addy, and date on the back of the ATC. That's it. IF you need some guidance on how to make atc's, or what to use, you can read more here. You should mention the dimension needs to be right (2.5 x 3.5) and it needs to be on a sturdy backing. Those are the things that count when I get ATC's and dont like them. I hate when they are flimsy or small.

An ATC is an Artist Trading Card. The required dimensions are above. As stated it does need to be on some heavy medium like heavy watercolor paper, chipboard, etc... Other than that it is just your art. Anything you want it to be. Hope this helps. I just made my first ones a few days ago. There are tons of utube videos out there as well. Happy trading!

I sat down tonight and made my ATC's. I really enjoy making these alot more when the theme is open.

First I passed on this swap because I am new to ATC's and got scared that I wouldn't do it right and get a bad rating, but then I thought why not try. So, please, if you don't like what I make, just remember, I'm a beginner at this.

I can't join this right now because I'm a newbe and have 5 swaps going now. I haven't made any ATC's and I'm going to watch some of the videos when I get home, so I may be able to join this at a later time.

@millie52 that's what this swap is for. Just remember to make it sturdy and 2.5 by 3.5 inches, and draw/paint/decorate it nicely. The theme is up to you!

Also, flickr.com is a good resource, too. If you search ATC there, loads of different ones pop up. Fabric, buttons, watercolor, punch outs...

I don't know what's happening with this swap but I couldn't find it after I signed up for it, now that I can find it, I'm not able to get my swap partners address.
