Simple....Stars ATC. Your choice color & style. Have fun. Newbies welcome. Stars in Sky and ATC size is 2.5 X 3.5 The only rule is that you make it nice and get it sent :)

Artist Trading Cards (or ATCs) are miniature works of art about the same size as modern baseball cards,[1] or 2 ½ X 3 ½ inches (63 mm X 89 mm),[2] small enough to fit inside standard card-collector pockets, sleeves or sheets.[3] The ATC movement developed out of the mail art movement and has its origins in Switzerland.[4] Cards are produced in various media, including dry media (pencils, pens, markers, etc.), wet media (watercolor, acrylic paints, etc.), paper media (in the form of collage, papercuts, found objects, etc.) or even metals or cloth. The cards are usually traded or exchanged rather than sold.

Do you mean celebrity stars ( famous people ) or celestial stars ( glowing spheres of hot gas)?

marthy 02/ 7/2011 #

Watching, and hoping you mean stars-in-the-sky! I have little or no interest in creating art about the other kind...but we're all different!

I'm a newBie so I'm asking a newBie question--OK? What do you consider a ATC? I know it stands for [artist trading card] I just need to know the size or if you use playing cards or what exactly is used. Thanks --- don't mean to be difficult, I just want to get it right!

Amafriend, a standard ATC is 2.5" horizontally by 3.5" vertically. Basically the same size as baseball cards. You can buy the precut at most art stores or on-line or you can cut themselves. You should typically use a paper that is sturdy so your card isn't flimsy. If you have any more questions I'd be more than happy to help! =)

Wow, I'm having typing issues... You can buy precut ATC cards at art supply stores or cut them yourself.

Sorry about that!

Thanks so much Prohairetic. OK--I'll see what I come up with. Do you think it's OK to use regular card [from a deck of cards]? They're the right size! (Maybe adhere 2 toGether would make it sturdy--IDK) Ha! Anyway thanks again Γ’β„’Β₯
