June Birthday Swap!

is it alright to send many items instead of one?

I think I'll join! I have my birthday on June 5th, so I'm in the subject! :P

sorry for my stupid question, I have my answer... be careful: international shipping costs (transatlantic ones) can be high, about 10-15$ or even higher if it's a big box!

packages go on weight, not size. So you can still send a number of items rather cheaply if they're not too heavy (totally worth investing in a set of postal scales up to 2kg or so, and of course the free booklet from post-office on costs. Works wonders for me as it allows me to make the most out of the money for each weight limit!). :)

yes generally shipping costs depend on weight (in my country they depend on weight & on size), and when it's less than 2kg, the prices are quite reasonable; it was just an information, as some people don't imagine that it could cost more than 2 or 3 $

Why there is people in this swap that their Birthdays are not in June? Mine is on June 2th :)

@CuteCat That is a good question! I am not sure. It clearly states June birthdays but I am going to check everyone's birthday before I assign partners.

my birthday is not in June... :/ I didn't think it was really for the real birthday; I thought it was "send a gift like it's a birthday"... I found it funny, like Alice in Wonderland: "Happy no-Birthday!". There is an expression in French which said something like: "the more fools we are, the more we laugh". Maybe the next time you should indicate that it's only for people who really have their birthday in June (for people like me who are serious but a little bit... dreamy & eccentric?)
