Description:

Had a couple more people join recently so I thought I would put one more trade out there as a practice for teachers. If you are a teacher who is interested in trading ATC (artist trading cards) classroom to classroom please practice first. If you did a trade already, feel free to join again:). The intent of this trade it to see how swap-bot works and if it is something you would like to use in your classroom.

  1. The card will be a ATC standard size (2 1/2 by 3 1/2 inches).
  2. The theme will be 'What I did this Summer'
  3. There is no rating requirements for this trade because many of the participants will be 1st time traders.
  4. This is a quick one so we can get it in before Sept. when we will start our classroom trades.

If you have other questions about Swap-bot out trades in general, please see my blog, MiniMatisse.blogspot.com

Hi: joined the swap and do not know the process. What happens with the info for the exchange? When, where will you post the next step? Thanks Looking forward to this! Jane

Jane- When the deadline of the trade is up you will be assigned a address. That is what I like about Swap-bot, your address is not revealed to all, just the people who are to trade with you. You will get an email saying your partner. Then you send them your card by the date required. When you get a card in the mail, you will come onto swap-bot and 'rate' your partner. This is a safe trade to join because I have no requirements on ratings, it is a 'get to know Swap-bot' swap:)

Hi Nic, Wow, 2.5" x3.5"... did I read that correctly? So we are trading sort of business card sized cards. Fun! Making mine today. Thank you for introducing me to this form of art trading!

Hi Nic, One more question, do you know what date we will get our notification for address to send our card to? I want to keep my eye out for it. Thanks so much!

Corinnetakara- This trade final day to sign up is the 9th. I like to let the date come and go before I give the go-a-head for the address distribution. So the 10th, I will tell swap-bot we are done and they generate a address for everyone to send to. I'm glad you are excited for this trade!

Hi: I did not receive the name of my swap partner. Did I miss something? jpinchuck

got an email that the swap was off because the originator could not participate. Then got an email from Stewart that I was his swap buddy and sent him a card this past week.
Very confused with process, but hope we can sort it out and have a great swap. Let me know if there is anything I need to do and thanks. Jane
