I am a new mom with an 8 month old little boy and I am learning the adjustment to being a stay at home mom. Luckily I have a few hobbies that fill up my down time. I love reading especially a good mystery (Jeffrey Deaver, James Patterson, Iris Johansan)and other authors such as Debbie Macomber, Nora Roberts. My other addiction is knitting, I work at a yarn store teaching classes and filling in for the owners when they are out of town. I love all fibers and enjoy finding new yarns, most of all I am a pattern pack rat, I love reading patterns. Felted purses cont. to be a passion with me, as well as anything baby at this point. I received a starbucks espresso machine for christmas so a lot of knitting has gotten done in the last 3 weeks. I also enjoy hosting charity knits at my house and putting baskets together for those people. One of my new years resolutions now that I am a stay at home mom is to learn to cook so I will be looking for some of those swaps as well. I can't forget my 2 wonderful dogs Harry (beagle), and Max (rat terrier). Who, let us not fool ourselves actually run our house.
I always say that if someone were to look in my CD case they would have no idea how old I am. A couple of examples include my 6 disc changer which is currently holding Elvis, Frank Sinatra, Harry Connick Jr., Baby Einstein, Mr and Mrs Smith soundtrack, and Norah Jones. Basically I like most music genres.
Knitting, Harry Potter, Romance/ Suspense, Mysteries. And I am always interested in hearing about new authors.
I like girly movies (of course). The main thing is that I like movies that actually have a plot.
The office, Prison Break, Lost, Medium, and Alias (when it was on).
Knitting, that pretty much sums it up. I have also recently gotten into dyeing some fibers as well. I haven't branched out from kool-aid as of yet.:)
Vibrant, I am not really into pastels unless they are mixed with other colors. I love pink/brown teal/brown etc.

Hi, I'm your partner for the chocolate bar and yarn swap. I won't be able to make it to the post today (or tomorrow), but Monday morning, bright and early, I will send your package. I was waiting for something to arrive to send on to you and it came yesterday after the post closed for me.
