Thank for the postcard from the ukswappers tag. I have lived in the UK longer than I lived in the USA and I imagine it is no longer like I remember it to be.
OMG, the chocolate was lovely! Thank you so much. It arrived yesterday and I ate it in my truck while waiting to get my son from school. I felt like a kid sneeking chocolate. So wonderful. Thanks again............It was from a tag.
Awww ^__^ I love guinea pigs, I'd never had any before these two but now I could quite happily fill my whole house with them, they're WONDERFUL.
Poor bunny! How's she doing? I have a rabbit too, his name is Art. He's a chocolate otter mini rex, very very nervous and taken to biting and chewing a lot. I think something upsetting must have happened to him when he was little and now he's scared all the time. Sometimes he'll be okay with a cuddle though, he is improving all the time so hopefully before long he'll feel safer.
Oh you poor thing, it sounds like you've really been having a tough time. I hope things are getting better. I guess I'm just coasting at the moment, kind of teetering between okayish (relatively) and going under again... I'm seeing my favourite and on Thursday so I'm just keeping myself going for that.
I totally get the book-escapism tactic - I repeat read Harry Potter more than I care to admit! Have you finished your vampire series now? What are you reading now if so? I've just finished a book called 'Snoopology' about what you can tell about people from their rooms/offices etc. Quite interesting but not as good as I'd hoped really. Not sure what to move onto now, I have so many books to read but I find most of them impossible to concentrate on :(
At the moment I'm doing absolutely nothing, just saving up my energy for Thursday really. Not that I feel I could do anything if I weren't conserving energy, I'm so tired, buh. I know I'll feel more able to keep trying and keep going after the gig though. What have you got going on/coming up?
Urgh, I just read your 1 rating and it makes me so sad that people can completely lack understanding like that, especially when you keep them informed and send gifts to apologise... I recently got a 1 as well, though I kept my partner updated she felt it had been too long, understandably as the swap was by that point over two months late... I finally finished it recently just short of four months late, which I know is ridiculous but I just couldn't do it. So I'm hoping she'll receive it soon and re-rate me. Sorry you've had such a bad experience with your swap, I know my rating really upset me and my partner was much more reasonable than yours seems to have been :( hugs
