Well here goes, my name is Patty and I live in Las Vegas, NV, but still call myself a Valley Girl at heart, grew up in sunny CA, loved it there and miss it alot.

I am a retired paralegal, a job I thoroughly miss & loved.

I have two children and three g-children whom I absolutely adore. I also love my fur babies, dogs & cats and also my fishies & tortoises. hehe

I love to read when I'm not crocheting, which is most every day, I am totally hooked (no pun intended, well maybe lol), I love to just pick out a pattern and go to town on it. I love to do quite alot of crafting.

I love to get to know other people, and love pen pals from all over and I enjoy doing swaps as well.

As I mentioned, I love to crochet every day almost, even take it with me when I have appt's., hate being idle. And yes it goes with me for trips in the car, like to keep my hands busy..

My favorite things to make are amigurumis, ami's for short, soooo much fun. I also love to make afghans, lapghans & small blankets, they keep me from going crazy from not working anymore.

I also love to do the Knifty Knitter, latch hook, embroidery, all sorts of crafts, not too picky at all and I have fun doing all of them.

Omgosh I LOVE to read, maybe even more than crochet. I read myself to sleep every night and even stay up all night so I can finish a book. I can read a book in a day, yessirree I do love my books. So much so that my daughter got me a Nook for Christmas the year before last, oh man oh man do I ever love it, wowee. hehe

I read mostly mysteries, they kinda keep ya guessing, not the gorey ones. I also love to read War books that tell a story, not just the facts and books like that.

I love Janet Evanovich and can't wait to see her rmovie that came out yesterday, she's just too funny. I also like books by Fern Michaels, Nora Roberts, some are a bit mysteriouus but not too much, also Robert B. Parker, James Patterson, Jonathan Kellerman, Faye Kellerman, Stuart Woods, Jill Churchill, Sherryl Wood, too many to name here.

As for my music I love me some country, I mean it's soooo good. I can't do too many of the dances but hey I try. I can do the Electric Slide, ya know the one they play at weddings. I can also do a couple more if I've had a lil help, if ya get my drift. hehe

I also like Rock 'n Roll, not the screaming kind, to me that's not music when ya have to scream or yell to so-call sing.

Geez... this one is hard to just pick a few, but here goes. I love to watch all the CSI's, 'specially th eone here in Vegas, seeing the places I know. I love NCIS, Law & Order, The Good Wife, The Mentalist, Blue Bloods, Mike & Molly, etc. I love mystery & comedy, quite a range there.

I also love to watch the Home & Garden shows, DIY also, they give me lotsa ideas on how to make my home nicer, hints, tips, etc.

I do watch a few of the cooking shows as well, I adore Paula, I mean who doesn't? The Neeley's are a hoot to watch, yes I said hoot, they make me laff.

I love to also watch the old musicals, they were so good back then.

My mostest favorite is the oldie but goodies b & w movies, and the older shows I watched when I was lil. They just came out with two new channels that are showing the older tv shows, and they have a western one too, I am sooo loving these shows, brings back memories for me.

I love to go to the movies, used to call me a 'movieaholic', not so much now. I'm not able to sit for too long w/o having to get up and walk a bit, won't get into that here.

Anyways, I love most all of the Disney, Pixar & animated ones. I mean who doesn't right? I love comedies the best.

I HATE scarey, horror movies, I mean who likes to be scared outta their mind? I know one, that's my daughter, she loves those kind of movies, ewwwww.....

A bit more 'bout me: I love piggies and moose (s) of all kinds. My favorite colors are any blues & pinks, my most favorite is kelly green, tho I don't wear it, I just like it.

I love to collect windchimes, I just love the sound of em. I love postcards from all over, funny, scenic, any kind. I like buttons, magnets, mugs, pens (I tend to snitch em hehe), bookmarks, stickers, post-its, I Love Lucy memorabilia, I absolutely adore Maxine, she's just toooo funny. I want to be just like her when I decide to grow up! lol Things to go with my crocheting and snowglobes too.

I love to hear the ocean rolling over & over, love thunder & lightning storms, too cool to watch. I love the sound of the rain, even have cd's that help put me to sleep, I have major, major insomnia so they help a bit.

I absolutely love being a Nana to my g-kids. The oldest Jonathon just turned 16 this past week. The next is Dylan, he'll be 15 in June and the last is Janelle, she'll be 12 (going on 18) in June also.

I absolutely hate being scared, it just drives me nutso when ppl scare me. I hate being cold and the thing I hate the most is when someone lies to me, I detest that.

I am a very easy going person and love to make new friends, ya can alway use more friends, right?
