I'm a forensic accountant living in Northern Virginia and working in DC.

I like sewing, knitting, reading, and doing home improvement projects. My taste in clothes and accessories is elegant and chic, with a touch of funky. When I knit and sew I try to make stuff that looks "handmade" rather than "homemade." I love watching old movies, traveling to other countries, camping, ballroom dancing, playing craps, and designing costumes for college theatre.

I'm currently decorating my bedroom in my new apartment in a vintage 1930's Shanghai boudoir style. We'll see how that goes.

I love knitting and sewing. I know how to crochet a little bit, but I mostly just use it to make flowers for my knitted items. I'm not as much into scrapbooking or altered items, although my mom does that and has made some gorgeous stuff.
