(2/27/21) All my swaps have been sent by the deadlines and everything I have received has been rated. I still have MANY swaps that I sent that have not yet been rated. I am happy to resend ANY swap so let me know if you have not gotten it in a reasonable amount of time!! I have also not received many older swaps, so if you have sent something late please let me know and I will hold off rating. Other wise, I am going to start downrating for the senders that aren't replying to my messages (but I really don't want to!) If you've recently received a 1 from me - I'm more than happy to change the rating once something arrives
I've gotten a postcard with no name or swap name (postmarked Peoria), but I can't rate it, so message me if it is from you
I enjoy books, letter writing, camping, travel, train trips, hiking. I am a Nurse, and I've worked in a ton of different areas, but right now I work in a plain old doctor's office. I'm fairly new to swap-bot, but took up letter writing and sending postcards as a new "covid hobby." I thought it wold be a good way to be able to use some of the great stationery and postcards I have found. But I keep getting such great goodies from other swap-bot members, that its hard to use things up as fast as I am gaining new things.
When it comes to letters/postcards I love anything vintage or retro. Actually when it comes to paper goods I like all of it. So if you have a postcard or bit of stationary that you have been hesitating on sending out because you think it’s “not good enough” then now’s your chance - you’ll still get a 5 from me as long as it fits the swap's criteria. I've always weirdly loved mail and paper/pens, so I'm surprised I never found this website before now. And I mean all paper...like one time my cousin was working for a company that was throwing out old fill in forms, for like an insurance company or something, I was probably 8 years old, and he gave me two paper sacks full of these random tablets of forms. My parents threw all of them away except about 2 inches worth because they didn't think I'd actually want them and it made me cry when I found out. And I was the kid that didn't even cry when the school nurse had to pick rocks out of my face from falling while hanging upside down in the playground...anyway...
