Hello, my name is Janis. I am a 29 year old awesome person living in the most beautiful place on the earth, Alberta, Canada.
I am currently living alone and Love it. I work a full time job in an office. Keeps me pretty busy.
I enjoy all types of things including reading, knitting, crocheting, photography, films, and long walks on the beach.
I love Swap-Bot and everything about it. I am on here like 10 times a day just checking stuff out.
MUSIC I am not really picky when it comes to music. I don't know a lot of bands. Basically if it isn't screamo then I am ok with it.
I like soft melodys and lyrics I can hear.
Third Day, Relient K, Kelly Clarkston, Toby Keith, Chris Rice, Casting Crowns, Norah Jones, It all depends on the song but basically almost anything except screamo
TV Gilmore Girls, Boy Meets World, Friends, Red Dwarf, Pushing Daisies, Supernatural, Dexter, Charmed, Dead Like Me, Mythbusters, Will and Grace, Chuck, True Blood, Firefly, Buffy, Dollhouse, Big Bang Theory, How I Met your Mother, Castle, (ok I think I watch too much TV)
MOVIES Pride and Prejudice, Spiderman, X-Men, Anne of Green Gables, 10th Kingdom, Disney, Stranger than Fiction, White Christmas, Labyrinth, Grease, Basically almost any movie.
BOOKS Lori Wick, Shakespeare, Jane Austen, Stephanie Mayer, Charliene Harris, C.S. Lewis, Basically anything I can get my hands on, I love literature
I basically love getting anything... but if you want to make the package extra special then you can include these things:
I love getting stuff but I wouldn't really appreciate the following:

Thanks for the nice TAG! I never knew there were chuckwagon races before you offered that PC! Love the stamp too!
I am one of your swap-partners, probably the last one to respond because I only just joined swap-bot (prompted by a member I know from Sendsomething.net) who is moderating a notecard swap here and I’m still learning my way around. I see you also collect postcards and I will gladly exchange a postcard with you, if you’d like to get a feel for the one-postcard-town on the West coast of Florida where I live. I’m currently working on enlarging my collection of churches and lighthouses from around the world. Email me if you’re interested (any interesting postcard has a good home in my collection however). If time permitted, I would LOVE to spend more time sewing and quilting. For now, I just dream a lot and make very small, ‘art-type’ pillows as gifts for friends, incorporating quilting, hand-embroidering and other mixed media. I have pictures of a few things I made at my Flickr account – since pictures are much more descriptive than anything I can say with words. I also entertain the idea of someday obtaining fabric pieces with prints of flags from various countries to make my “Around the World†quilt. Perhaps I will start a swap here in the spring – do you think I might find takers? My husband and I have a piece of property in Kalispell, Montana. I have been to Edmonton and love it (I also like the French part of Canada). One day we hope to build a house there. Like the western coast of Canada, Montana has gorgeous scenery! Best wishes from a Florida gal!

Judging from your profile you seem to be a very nice person and there also are quite a few things that we have in common. I live alone as well and love it- and we also share various hobbies. What's your favorite tea flavor?
Have a nice day,
indigorose
Hey Janis,
We have a lot of the same tv loves. I recently started watch rerun episodes of Gilmore Girls. It comes on in the afternoon, so I DVR it and watch it when I come home each day. It is kind of like a mug of cocoa after a winter day don't you think? It is just so charming and witty. Greens and blues are my favorites too. I hope we get to be swap partners someday. Peace.
Greetings, Janis! You have a wonderful profile that really gives insight into what you love in life! Although I live in the US now, I was born in Canada and I am very much a Canadian girl at heart. I love to travel throughout Canada and hope to make it to Alberta soon! You and I have a lot in common too - I also enjoy different coloured pens, postcards, stickers, etc. Keep on doin' what you do! May you have a wonderful 2011! :)
Hi...I just read your profile and how lucky you are to live in Canada! I was there 25 years ago for my HONEYMOON! It is beautiful! We have lots of favorites in common! I too love pens and markers of all kinds and colors! Reading, crocheting, fairies and celestial things are at the top of my favs also! I have always loved anything and everything to do with paper also! Keep creating!!!
