I am a single mother of 4. This year they will all be teenagers!! I love the color purple. Eeyore is my favorite character. I also like angels and fairies. I am a coffeeholic but I also like teas. Just a quick note to add here. I am a little behind in mailing out my swaps this week. I was robbed at gunpoint this week at work and things have been kinda stessful. I also found out that I am diabetic so to say the least this week has nnot been a good one. So if I owe you a swap please forgive me but I will hahave it out as soon as possible. Thank you for understanding. Connie
I like all kinds of music except for heavy metal and rap. I generally listen to easy listening, country or top 40.
The last few books I have read have been by Ann Rule. True crime books and I love Patricia Cornwell. I also like the inspirational books as well. I like something I can put down and pick back up a bit later and not have lost the plot. And who can resist a cookbook!! Especially the ones put out by churches or groups with the members favorite recipes!!
Law and Order all the way!!(goes along with my crime/ murder mystery intrigue!!) I also like comedies as well.
I enjoy doing quick and easy crafts. I mainly do plastic canvas. I have started doing some crocheting. I do a little bit of sewing as well. I just cant paint! I am always looking for new ideas and really want to put enough stuff together this year to do a craft fair in November or December.
I love love love different kinds of stationery.
I am a pen freak! especially the non normal colors my favorites include purple, and electric blue.
Cute stationery is always a plus.
handmade crafts
hair ties -ponytails
barrettes
Christmas ornaments especially handmade
coffee especially chocolate varieties
chocolates
craft ideas especially quick easy ones
socks character ones and funky ones
I like magnets too
I would like to see a completed whimsey jar or how to do one. I have finally figured out Kawaii and ATC thanks for all the help from the cool swap botters who showed me.
I really want to learn how to really read a crochet pattern. I have been messing around with them but they seem so complicated.

You flaked on 10 people in this swap.
I hope your are feeling better and are able to stabilize your sugars, when my daughter was first diagnosed she had a few emergency hospital visits, was fainting regularly, very scary learning to manage it all, especially self injecting etc if needed, diet and lifestyle changes and juggling family and work. . She asked me to message and say we are thinking of you. Having had 4 generations with it in our family we understand the major impact it makes on your life. When the recipe book arrives I hope you will find the diabetes magazine with it a great help. I hope life picks up for you and you can get back to enjoying life and your swaps soon. regards to you and your children from Annette in Australia

Hi Connie,
A zine is a small hand-made magazine or booklet that is photocopied or hand-made and either given away, traded, or sold for a small amount of money (to cover costs, rarely for profit). They can be comics, perzines (personal zines, such as diaries or personal stories), political, recipes, fanzines (zines about a band/artist/person made by fans) poetry, art, DIY/how-to (instructions), crafts... there are literally thousands of zines out there. I love them because they're not censored or full of adverts and some of them are very beautiful!
One of my favourite zine distros (zine distributors) is Paper Trail Distro:

Thanks for asking :)
