I'm Elizabeth, 37, currently living in southern Illinois, and very excited to climb out of my hermit hole to meet new swap friends! I've been creative journaling for years without realizing that there was an entire community of people who love happy mail and swapping things just as much as I do!
As for me, I identify as a stationery hoarder, I've got one teenage son, and few furry friends. We live a quiet life in a quiet town in the middle of nowhere, and it's honestly pretty great :) I got engaged this year so that's been exciting!
Currently, I'm working in both an art journal and several daily writing journals. I make my own stationery and really enjoy most paper crafts as well as some light watercolor painting and just a tiny bit of line drawing.
If anyone is interested in swapping letters or even just postcards let me know! I'm a huge introvert, but I love meeting new people from different cultures so I'm open to exchanges from anywhere and everywhere!
*Dot painting
*Chameleon watercolor paints
*All things adult coloring related!
*The color teal.
*Hedgehogs
*Whales
*Crystals and Stones
*Textured Paper
*Miniature Painting
*Board Games!
*Mystery Bags
*Wedding stuff
*Journaling: as previously stated, and I'm really interested in paper crafts of all types.
*Art: Your own, famous artworks, recommendations, tips and tricks ... really anything to do with it I would be glad for you to share with me!
*Traveling: Sometimes it doesn't have to be a physical trip. I've taken many great journeys through novels so send me your latest favorites :)
*Vintage things: I enjoy themed things, but I really love actual vintage items like old letters and tickets! I'm also into cottagecore recently for some reason.
*Nature/botanicals: I've got a flower press and love to use it!
*Photographs: I love to receive photographs of any kind, but especially polaroids. I don't know why, they just tickle me pink!
*Films, music, and novels: All genres. Seriously...I can find something to like in just about all of them.
*My son is a teenager and thinks my snail mail obsession is silly, so please save children's items for mothers with small children :)
This is only here because I never want anyone to be anxious when they are picking something out to send to me. It is by no means the entire list of things I would like and if none of it matches your style or personal aesthetic don't worry! I would rather have something that is authentically you, than anything on this list! Send me something wacky and then tell me why! I'll love it!
*Washi stickers and tape
*Lace
*Interesting paper scraps
*Wax seals
*Pressed flowers
*Things unique to where you live
*Unused Postcards (I'm having a hard time finding them in my area right now)
*Stamps
*Vintage Ephemera
*Stickers of people or architecture
*Book pages in languages other than English
*Shaped Paperclips
*Stamped images and phrases
*Address Labels
*Recipe Cards
*Seed packets (Purslane is my favorite!)
*Anything Watercolor
This is for the 2024 season and is by no means an exhaustive list of things that I like, just some general things that I think would make swapping easier for my partner. However, I really like to try new things like foreign candy and salty things so don't be afraid to send something different!
*I love teas, hot chocolate, and flavored coffee!
*I'm a big fan of sour things
*A million times yes, to all things chocolate
*I'm not allergic to anything food related
*I like "Cozy and Comforting" scents as classified by the highly scientific bath and body works scale. Think vanilla bean and butterscotch, but no cinnamon please, it gives my son headaches!
*I'm totally down for some private Christmas swaps! Just DM me and I'll set it up!
*I don't really wear makeup, but I love lip glosses and chapsticks!
*Art supplies are always my jam! I'm currently in need of a good short handled acrylic paint brush.
*I have really dug into adult coloring books as a way to kind of Zen out and relax. I've found it therapeutic and would love your recommendations on good books or supplies!
*Watercolor has been this years obsession, so anything to do with that would be greatly appreciated!
*I just got engaged this year, so well wishes and wedding stuff is welcome! :)
*I really love original artwork and would love to receive something you've drawn, painted, or created!

My Advent gifts continue to give me such joy with every one I open. The French orange blossom mints is my favorite so far but today it was Christmas papers and yesterday tags, so once again, thanks ever so much for your thoughtfulness. Linda

Thank you so much for the lovely tag for the AMA: USA-Mystery Supply Swap. That stencil works well for decorating the envelope also. So easy and beautiful at the same time.
