A few notes:

• I very much appreciate quality over quantity, and would be thrilled with just a couple/few nice, well thought out items vs. a big box of dollar store/bin (or cheap, discount store) items thrown together in haste. I hope that doesn't sound harsh/stuck up, but I have been receiving a lot of boxes stuffed with random dollar store goods and poor quality stuff for package swaps (stuff that is cheap and unusable, or that barely fits my interests), and it is sooo disappointing to receive. Most recently I received a swap like this for a high value profile-based swap that I signed up for in honor of my birthday. It was so disappointing that I cried upon opening it. Please give me the consideration that I would, without a doubt, give you. It will be truly appreciated and my gratitude would be immense. :)

By day I create custom cakes for a small bakery in Seattle. By night I am a jewelry maker/designer (and compulsive bead hoarder). I run my own business (an Etsy store) where I am selling my jewelry pieces. I love to accumulate things and create things. I also do freelance photography/portraits part time. And climb trees. Cake & frosting!

Beads! I make a lot of jewelry - earrings, necklaces, big funky rings, bracelets, headbands and hair clips. I love making items in sweet, vintage styles or bold Harajuku style. I have been playing with beads since I was old enough to not eat on them or choke on them. ;)

I love paper crafts like card making, sewing (super newbie), painting (watercolors), drawing (my style is kind of comic-book-esque), making ATCs, matchboxes.

I love to write and always have a novel or two in the works. Fiction, mostly.

I am an avid photographer and have several cameras. I do freelance shoots mostly with rock bands or children. My camera are: a Canon 40D and a Canon Powershot S90. I love them both and would highly recommend them to anyone looking.

Kawaii! I absolutely love it! I am not super picky about kawaii...if it is cute, I love it. I love Korean kawaii. I love stickers, flakes, memos, pens, etc. I am just starting to collect cabochons, beads, charms, decotape, lettersets, pens, pencils, etc. I'd be thrilled to receive any of those items. :)

My favorite kawaii themes: food (not real) with faces, cute poo, kitties, hearts, stars, candies, cupcakes, octopuses, penguins, rainbows, clouds, weather, toast, fruits, veggies, cupcakes and tofu. I'm a huge fan of Jetoy cats and can't find that stuff here and have trouble finding it on-line. I'll gladly swap for it!

Favorite media/movies & TV: MAS*H, House, True Bloom, Star Wars... I love items related to these things. :)

Candy: I like plain milk chocolate, or chocolate with caramel. I don't like dark chocolate, and am allergic to coconut and nuts. I love fruit candies like Skittles, Starbursts, gummies, anything Wonka, etc. Non-US candies are very exciting for me and would be a joy to receive!

Colors & combos: bright colors, jewel tones, purple... pink and green, pink and brown and any unique, quirky color combo that one wouldn't normally put together (green/orange, for example). I am not into drab colors unless they are accented with something bold or unless I sign up for a swap specifically with that theme.

Items from others countries: I love receiving little unique things that I can't get in the US. It is as close as I can get to traveling for now, and receiving any of the following would make me absolutely giddy. :) --- Chocolates, fruity candies, your pocket change (or your really old pocket change/collectible coins), newspaper clippings, law enforcement patches, magazines, postcards, unused stamps, souvenir pens, keychains, trinkets and magnets.

Maneki neko/lucky cats: I love these. I love anything with a lucky kitty on it. Art, stickers, paper, figurines, jewelry, absolutely anything. I am collecting the figurines.

Octopuses! my favorite animal. :)

I collect, and would be thrilled to receive: tourist keychains (quality, metal, shiny ones), tourist magnets (3d/quality ones, not flat photo magnets), postcards from where you live (written on). 3" action figures (especially Star Wars** and I am always looking to expand my clone trooper stash), maneki neko/lucky cat *anything, pens (funky, unique, regular or tourist pens... I love them all!), kawaii (see above for details), stickers, matchboxes and nicely made ACTs.

Make-up: I love make-up! I am trying to collect pigments currently. I love girly, brightly colored make-up. ★ Nail polish, eyeliner, eye shadow and lip glosses are my favorites. ★ I love nice make-up (MAC, Eyeko, etc).

★ Please do not send me dollar store make-up. I know there are many great "cheap" brands, and use them often (I love me some Wet & Wild!), but my luck with dollar store brands has been bad. The lipglosses are clumpy and the NYX shadow give some hives. I won't have a use for it so please don't send it.

Craft stuff: I love pretty much any crafty or artistic tidbits! The shinier, the better. Here is a listing of stuff I enjoy:

Art pens, pencils, lace, trim, craft punches, patterned paper pieces (any size, even super small bits), Prisma Color Markers, watercolors (tubes, pencils, cakes), glitter (quality, not cheap/kid type... super fine or shapes are my favorite), sequins, shaped confetti, rhinestones, beads (glass, metal, stone, pearl, crystal, quality lucite - no pony beads/cheap stuff), vintage/broken jewelry tidbits in good condition, charms, stickers, buttons, ribbons, brads, eyelets, embellishments, paper/fabric flowers, ATC blanks, gears and old watch parts, watch keys, origami paper ephemera (especially vintage!), fabric, buttons, ink pads, clear stamps and glitter paint/glue.

Other things I love: Japanese things, cute girl-cut t-shirts or tanktops (size small or medium), soft and fuzzy socks, weird socks, unique socks, candles, incense, music/mp3 CDs, hair accessories, funky necklaces, magazine articles/clippings, foreign magazines, ATCs, matchboxes, whimsy jars, memo pads, stationary, blank notecards, anything with my name "Kiki" on it, postcards, post-it notepads, list pads (I use these for most of my swap notes!), old skeleton keys, phone straps, lucky cat figurines (especially the super tiny ones), lilacs (the flowers or the scent!), Toki Doki.
