I'm Denise and I collect postcards. I generally collect new, unused cards.

Some other things I enjoy are hiking, history, road trips, nature, changing seasons, and all things old, rural or rustic.

I typically sign up for swaps that are clear in their requirements, and as long as those are met, I'm happy. =)

I love and collect new postcards from all over the world in typical 4x6 size. My preference is for single view cards and while I have some favorite topics, I enjoy all kinds of views and other themes as well. So feel free to surprise me!

These are some topics I collect heavily on, if you happen to have one...

• European castles, ruins
• barns
• old grist mills or windmills
• rustic scenery, love weathered wood
• beautiful landscapes and natural scenery
• foggy views, misty views
• historic sites (nice views especially)
• rural scenery, countryside views
• natural seashore views (love shells, sea oats)
• amazing or colorful land formations
• WINTER! snowy, frosty, icy views
• autumn views, colorful leaves, etc.
• beautiful mountain views
• scenic views with wildflowers
• nice views of large cities, skylines (especially with nice colors, at dusk or such)
• beautiful lighthouses, especially with rough seas or snow
• gnomes, elves (Kjell Midthun, Jan Bergerlind, Lars Carlsson, etc.)
• trolls (Rolf Lidberg)

Dislikes (please avoid if possible)... Multiviews, large or oversized cards, ad or free cards, Internet printed cards (Zazzle, Cafe Press, etc.), older or damaged cards.

Other things I collect or use...

• Used stamps! =)
• Nice stickers (scrapbooking quality)
• Boxtops for Education

I'm most active on Postcrossing, but I do bounce around and swap in other places.

I always send my swaps and I send them on time. If I owe you something and it doesn't arrive, please drop me a message to let me know before rating. I will always resend a missing swap. I believe the mail sorting machines sometimes eat postcards and/or envelopes.

Quality is more important than quantity to me. =)
