Hello from South Dakota USA! I’m a retired nurse, with debilitating migraines, a fiber and mixed media artist. Oh how I love to weave, crochet and twine. My other passion is mixed media with beads, paints, collage, reverse collage, mail art and journaling. I’m a snail mail pen pal have been for 40+ years. I love to write long newsy letters along with swapping goodies. I enjoy needle work too and have been into free flow embroidery or slow stitching. I also have a YouTube channel HOTTHREADSSD. I live in rural SD our mail is sent to and processed in a city 5 hours away. The post mark date will not always reflect the day I posted it. In the winter months the mail is much slower. It has taken 8 days for a letter to arrive in a town an hour away. I’ve also had on rare occasions where mail will disappear so if you don’t get my swap please contact me or send a message. I will make it right. Thanks in advance if there is a hiccup.
