Mom of a pre-teen daughter (6th grade this year so wow, BIG wow) living in North-East Florida about 20 minutes from Jacksonville. Our town is rarely heard of, so we usually just say we're from Jax, since we have to go there to see civilization anyways!!! When I'm not working (at my paid job or my real job as a Mom) I like to putz around. Included, but in no particular order, would be reading, crafting, painting, antique-ing, traveling (weekend roadtrips or planned vaca's). Summer vaca this year was London/Paris vacation which was wonderful, but everything that could have gone wrong, did! I have a hankering to be somewhere in Italy next May when I hit the big 4 OH!!! I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

Enigma is still a fav after all these years...I have my phases of what I listen to and currently I'm digging Alternative i.e. Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Paper Tongues, Breaking Benjamin, Cage the Elephant....just to name a few...Last but certainly not least, I have to go with 80's stuff since that was my time! Everything from Metal, Beastie Boys, REO Speedwagon, Journey, NKTOB....wow....what a cheesy decade but sooooo great!!!!

Hmm...give me a good suspense book any day! Especially when the hero is a chick who can take care of herself!!! On the other hand, I also like the inspirational writings of Dr. Deepak Chopra and Paulo Cohelo....Again, I'm all over the place with my fav's...

Gosh...I like making mixed media assemblages, paintings, re-vamped jewelry, postcard and card making painting decoupage....I honestly mess around a bit with it all...I'm the type of person who can't go into a craft store without a list, because if not I will shop for at least a couple of hours....ugghhh! not good when I have limited storage space!!!!

ummm...don't have a lot of dislikes...

I'm sure both lists will grow in time. I guess I'm open to things that I havent't attempted yet (steampunk etc) and won't know until I receive something of said item....Honestly though I do like "surprises" and welcome the "sender's choice" swaps and a lot of the time, I don't list likes or dislikes under the comments...Takes away from the fun the swap (to me). I'm pretty easy though...Did I mention I like shiny, vintage, cutesy or different kind of things?!?!
