I'm a single ( but looking :oD ) working professional currently residing in the DC metro area. Originally from the Virgin Islands, I started scrapbooking when I bought my 1st Cricut, Black Friday 2009. I look forward to learning and sharing my scrapping passion with you all! Growing up, I have always been crafty, from sewing my own clothes, making fabric, stocking or sock dolls, crocheting simple blankets and doilys, to making doll houses out of cardboard, to creating my own stencils out of plastic milk bottles to stencil on wood crafts....I have always created stuff. Well a lot of that dwindled and died during my college years because I didn't have time!

Like I said I recently bought a Cricut Machine and fell in LOVE with paper crafts! I AM AN ADDICT! Though it seems that I am currently hoarding more than I am creating right now! :o/ I hope to change that BIG time this year! That is one of my resolutions....

OK so I am a romance junkie at heart! I LOVE A GOOD ROMANCE book! I became addicted in my teens... to the Harlequin, Silhouette type novels but then discovered historical romance novels and abandoned the Harlequins which suddenly seemed amateur compared to the historical novels. Fast forward to a few years ago...I stumbled onto paranormal romance and have not looked back! I LOVE THEM! They are GRAPHIC IN EVERY WAY if ya know what I mean! ;o)

Some of my favorite paranormal authors (in no particular order) are:

• Laurell K. Hamilton Anita Blake Vampire series(she is not for the faint at heart ladies...graphic in the gore AND the romance)
• Christine Feehan (LOVE ALL of her series)
• Lora Leigh (OMG...is all I can say!)
• J.D. Robb (this is more futuristic than paranormal but love it)
• Shannon K. Butcher
• Sherrilyn Kenyon
• Marjorie M. Liu

That is all I can think of for now.

I LOVE the following TV shows:

• Bones
• Fringe
• Supernatural
• Smallville (so sad the series is over)
• "V" (OMG this 2011 season is SO GOOD)
• Big Love (sadly I don't have HBO anymore...so I have A LOT of seasons to catch up on)
• Californication (when I had showtime...or HBO)
• Hung (LOL don't ask..I think it is on showtime)
• White Collar
• Covert Affairs
• Royal Pains
• Lie to Me
• American Idol
• So You Think You Can Dance
• Heroes (so sad they have not brought the show back but I am still hoping)
• Law and Order (SVU is my favorite series)

I like all kinds of music really...if I hear a song I like...well I like it...the only exception would probably be country...though I like some contemporary country like Shania Twain, Leeann Rymes etc.

I don't like heavy metal or techno either...punk...and those kinds of goth kind of music not so much.

Like I said I just started this INSANE craft...but I love the following styles:

• Tim Holtz (OMG LOVE everything about his style)
• Vintage theme
• Shabby Chic
• Modern/abstract

Basically I like things that are unique and different and has a lot of interesting techniques.

I love doing ATCs!

I also love mini albums!

I have a Cricut, Gypsy, Design Studio for the Cricut, the cuttlebug, and now the Cinch machine...though I have not used it yet because I am trying to find the binding wires for them. So if anyone has tons of binding wires for the Cinch they don't need...would really LOVE to be RAKed some! :o)

I love LACE, glimmer mists, flowers like prima, recollections etc., unique and cool embellishments, buttons, fibers, pearls, feathers, etc.

I would like to try smootch inks and smootch spritz. I have not tried them yet.

I would also like to try more spellbinders

I have heard that some of the papercrafting stuff that are sold in the UK and other countries differ from what is sold in the US...and so would LOVE to get some cool and unique International scrappy stuff.

That's all I can think of for now...my interests change like I do!

For awhile I needed ribbon and started collecting it...now I have a TON of Ribbon...so unless it is super unusual...I don't need ribbon

• I don't care for flat stickers...I like my stickers with dimension and interest...like flocked, glittered, etc.

• I really don't use a lot of chipboard embellishments yet...I have a lot...so unless it is unusual or International...I don't need any
