***************************************** Notice *********************************************** I'm Slowing down, way down, in swapping activities. So slow I've stopped. Still working on getting caught up with the last bit of kissing up I need to do which could take a while because I'm gonna keep kissing until you love me again.
collecting pics of doves (like the ones on used Christmas cards ~ hint hint) .. Thank you my lovely partners for all the doves you've been sending!
Extras are NOT necessary for my full appreciation. I don't rate based on extras. That said, I do love stuff (maybe too much).
The stuff I like is free or cheap. Things that most people throw out. I want daily items like garage parking or dry cleaning tags (can't believe I threw out all those parking stubs from UCLA!), zoo maps, tickets (don't send me your speeding tickets, I won't pay 'em!), or something that's local to your area, maybe some old paper w/ your city's emblem. If you're outside the U.S. send me ads, phone book pages, newspaper, junk mail, old bills. I'm happy to take torn, damaged, or stained things off your hands and put them to good use. Items that might seem mundane to you fascinate me.
That's basically it... but read on if you want more ideas:
hang tags (any size/shape from buying clothes or whatever).... bus transfers (torn's good).... used postage stamps (damaged works)... letters or numbers (broke in half)... stamped images of rubber stamps you have (they don't have to be perfect, give me your rejects!)... home pressed flowers (petals missing)... used wrapping paper (w/ the tape still stuck to it!)... used greeting cards (tear off the back if it's too personal!)... foreign or odd packaging (yup, you guessed it, ripped, run over, or otherwise abused)... office ledgers, forms... anything written on... see-through-ish papers or envelopes... napkins, tissue papers with a design... music paper... wallpaper... colored paper... paper paper paper!... guitar picks... scraps of material... ribbons... lace... string... twine... random photo corners... squashed stuff... mystery items... mostly flattish to collage with. Confession: I'm known to pick up these kinds of things from parking lots and the side of the road. There's a clinical term for it. I don't mind if you send such stuff. Rust and a little dirt are patina! Be as creative as you like! Got sent the head of a key some poor guy broke off in a lock and flung down in a parking lot. Luv it! OK, stop right now and dig through your craft room trash bin and find me something!
narrow mindedness
mean people (will not be tolerated)
killing things (except zombies and bad men)
Don't care for pin-ups/sexual themes (but I won't have a stroke over it ...we've all got one, I just don't wanna see yours)
holidays (commercial/American) (also no strokes over receiving holiday themes)
perfumery (allergic.. maybe I'll have a stroke)
I won't flake. If you don't get something from me send a message and I'll send again. I only send work that I love (and secretly want to keep), but alas, we must part in order to swap! I'll contact you before giving a 3 or a 1, please do it for me
