hi there!

i've just finnished up my honours in fine art (working mainly with print-media, found objects and assemblage). I am interested in the clash between traditional crafts and contemporary arts practice and enjoy...

• Paper and its smell, its feel and its general presence.
• brown paper and hairy hairy twine
• people and their stories, histories and thoughts
• film and its ability to produce an image before your eyes... and polaroid.
• tactile, ephemeral things (the sound and smell of rain etc).
• comicbook characters. I especially love the x-men
• COLLECTIONS snowglobes, postcards and various other eccentric finds.
• animals such as birds, bats, foxes, deer, owls, rabbits, insects and the occasional australiana embelishment :)
• colours = black, red, grey, green. as well as that lovely brown-paper-sort-of-brown.

• music videos

keep in mind- Australia has really strict customs laws which means no vegetation, animal, fresh food and untreated wood-matter. theres no point your lovely things getting caught up in an airport, so yeah. just use common sense so that my lovely country can stay lovely :)
