We ended up just buying a leash for Pancake. It was cheaper than buying all the supplies to make a sturdy one. It's a little harness, her front legs go through it and it cinches on the back. I don't like putting her in it, but we plan to take her with us to visit some relatives and I don't want her to run off and go poop under their sofa or something. She used to sleep in my shirt when we would take her on trips, but she has gotten far too big and prickly to do that anymore. (She's a year old.) I would never have had the courage to take her out in public in my shirt when she wasn't sleeping though, she's such a sneaky monster!
They are so cute and have such big personalities! I think most people don't realize they are just like tiny prickly dogs. (:
I love that you take Tangerine with you everywhere. I also love his name. <3 Pancake is a little lover. We just got her a leash a week or so ago and I am still letting her get used to it around the house. She's warming up to it (tried to eat it today) but didn't lie down in defeat after I put it on her this time. I'm excited to start taking her places as she loves car trips. Happiest I've ever seen her is when we were driving through the dessert (:
