About Me

I’m a Craft-aholic (and I don’t use that term loosely). Yes, I’ll own up to it because I know my parents would tell you that I have been passionate about the arts and crafting since childhood. In fact, I remember getting in trouble when I was a child because I kept catching paper on fire while trying to heat emboss on our gas stove. I’m sure I am not the only one to ever do that!

I progressed from “open flame heat embossing” to cutting strips of paper to add names and captions to all of my dad’s magnetic photo albums (I don’t think he was too crazy about all the stars I used to dot my “i’s” and end my “y’s). We moved a lot, so of course I had to create my own stationery to keep in touch with friends. And no flea market would be complete without my brother and me selling the jewelry and hand-sewn purses we created.

Fast forward to the present...I enjoy teaching scrapbooking, mini albums, and altered art classes where I get to see the creative spirit come alive in others. I am also a Freelance Writer who gets to write about my crafting passions from the home that I share with my wonderful husband and incredible son in Leesburg, VA.

Comment: I haven't received the ATC you said was sent on January 1st. I don't want to rate a 1, but it's been over two weeks since the mail by date, plus you marked it sent 4 days after the send by date without communication.

Thank you SOOOOOO much for the sticky-back canvas ATC blanks - I LOVE them! I found 80 used postage stamps of women to send you and I put them in today's mail - I really hope you like them as much as I like the canvas ATCs!!! :-) Thanks for a great tag! :-)
