I'm female, Christian of the Church of Christ, currently a student and learning Japanese.
I'm interested in psychology, philosophy, anthropology and, well, many things really. Oh, and I hope to meet Stephen Fry one day
Would love to do private swaps. Let me know. :)
Emilie Autumn, Hannah Fury, Emmy The Great, Florence + The Machine, Belle & Sebastian. God Help The Girl, Kate Bush, Vienna Teng.
Rimi Natsukawa, YUI, Stereopony, Arashi.
Harry Potter series, The Picture of Dorian Gray, The Secret History, Special Topics In Calamity Physics, Sherlock Holmes, Agatha Christie's Jane Marple
Mainly campus novels or bildungsroman directed at an adult audience. Also any Wilde books.
I would love to receive:
postcards, flyers from festivals or concerts - especially art events or even anime festivals and the like.
Anything natural-looking or relating to the mori girl style; magazines (resembling Little Thing or Frankie) or even brand catalogues or little accessories.
Books that are out of print; old books; slim pocketbooks from local authors (that is, those from your country, especially those lesser known beyond the border) or interest-related. I read English and Chinese books; don't mind Japanese books since they would help me learn the languages. :)
I am a prolific user of notebooks and most of them are filled with scribbles so I would love those. Also postcards, bookmarks, notecards.
Things with historical (e.g. Victorian) styles, ornately decorated items or simple elegance.
tote/book bags
lace/ deco tape
other places I love (for their architecture/history/culture/food): Scotland, England, France, Austria, Germany, India, Burma, Philippines, Japan
philosophy and chemistry jokes
English breakfast tea, Ceylon, Huangjin Gui (Golden Osmanthus), Darjeeling white, most fruit teas. I love tea.
pastel-coloured stickers
I don't really like:
neon coloured and pink items
stuffed toys, religious books (I purchase these myself)
Disney or Looney Tunes products and Korean pop
crochet or sewing supplies (can't craft, you see)
For food swaps please do not send items containing prawn or shellfish as I have allergies
A list of things I usually have ready for swapping/ I can obtain:
Flyers from local concerts, art festivals, museums, music performances
Fiction from local authors (including poetry) and local literary magazines such as Ceriph
Pop art notebooks, bookmarks
Notebooks, bookmarks, stickers
Tea
I send most swaps by surface mail (except postcard sets or light items) which takes 1-3 weeks to arrive. Please understand that I'm a student with limited funds and I can't send everything by air.
I also recycle and reuse old envelopes/bubble-wrap.
Please note that in Singapore, post isn't postmarked on Saturday or Sunday.
My responsibility for the parcel ends at the post office. However I will try to resend swaps if you've not received (please let me know if this happens as I don't have a habit of tracking swaps).
I'll give hearts based on effort spent on swaps and also unexpected things that make my day in a swap parcel.

Hello!
It's my pleasure to invite you in the group. :) Hope you'll enjoy ^^
Welcome to Newbie Mentors!
Good! Let me know when you want to set up the swap! I make most of my BJD clothing except for shoes, and I also have lots of eyes! I've also got some very cute MSD patterns if you like to sew.
oh another BJD fan! Yay! There are only a couple of us on here. Are you on denofangels? I am and my ID there is simply kathleen. I'm new to the hobby (about a year) but I already have a BBB Sprite and Moony, an RS Lu, a Pong, and a DZ Mo. Would love to trade BJD stuff some time!
Welcome to swap-bot. Have you swapped before?
