Hello all! My name is Mark, a 26 year old male living in the west coast of Scotland. I am very new to 'penpalling' etc, but it is something I am very looking forward to! I have discovered a light love for writing, jornaling, stationary and the tangible feeling of holding a hand written letter, that someone has taken the time to complete.

I have 2 amazing kids, little Joshua, my eldest and Matthew, my youngest.

My main interests at the moment are spiritual journeys (not specifically religious), stoicism, philosophies, the arts (namely the weimer Republic era) and recovery art. Music, most genres, excluding mumble rap, what even is that? Mostly jazz, classic rock, heavy rock, metal, blues, real R&B, motown. However I am excited to hear, see or learn anything new.

I am also a recovering alcoholic and a proud member of the alcoholics anonymous fellowship. The fellowship has changed my life, to which I'll never be thankful enough. I'm really open to sharing experiences about addiction, struggles and experiences that we have gone through. Discussing the ups and downs of life and the coping mechanisms we have developed.

I'm not all serious though, I'm quite happy to write about day to day, the little things that make us happy, family and anything else!

We must work to be better individuals. Our goal as human beings is to consistantly make the right decisions. This is our only focus. But we must work for it. We seek progression not perfection God is in the shoe leather. Without wax, Mark.
