Greetings Fellow Astist! I'm so excited to be in the presence of a-like minds... I've been an artist even b4 birth- It's in my blood, from making my bed to baking a pizza, somehow it always ends up looking like a painting to others and normal to me...lol.

I'm a mom of 2 beach babies...a 6yr.daugther and my son who is 3. A girl whom loves bugs and a boy who you can't pull away from the computer....unless we're off to the beach! I recently relocated to Virginia Beach from NC by way of Wash. DC.

Prior Navy and now I'm a vet! Had a chance to travel the 7seas while stationed in Guam. If only I could return.... Ah, Virginia Beach will have to do- When the Marines wouldn't take me...because of my asthma, The Navy let me in and said " Don't tell anyone else"..lol. in the end it was a good fit because I love to travel. Soon I'll turn one of these rms into a" Around the World in 80days theme"

I noticed and you will too... I love themes. It help me to get moving in a good direction- I might chance the path, yet it gets me started.

I am an independence baby, that's right born on the 4th of July, 76 of all the yrs. so one can imagine wht type of person I am :) Always on the go- This time the water really pulled me in...it"s so calming and I am so happy to have relocated here, I can't imagine being anywhere else (unless on an island) haha... being only 7mins away from the waterfront, truly has it's advantages.

I have a love for nature, 4sure...anything goes...gotta have the sand between my toes:) I really love trees right now, and butterfly's are a most. I am a dog lover so anything that has to do with dogs, I'm all in. I will be planting my garden soon, flowers and herbs so gotta love them. I really love anything vintage, I'm offten told I have an ole soul- I have a small collection of vintage jewelry, not to mention my wedding had a 1920's theme... Now I can't forget my yard sales, thift stores or even my clearance bins... I love those hidden treasures that are looked over by the naked eye.

In the end it's all about family for me. I love trying to get everyone together (impossible) yet, I try to atleast do something- I've marked every Friday nite Movie nite and the one night you can sleep where ever you want in the house night...almost anywhere u want ( u know kids).

Almost forgot, did I tell you I love to talk...I'm the best at surprises and the best at keeping a good secret!

Update!!!! Us watersigns can be very bulled headed..strong willed people so to speak-Speaking from one (Cancers) point of view- I sometimes forget and even take advantage of the fact that we as a people are gifts, Gods gifts! If you've read my profile before I stated that I was singled and starting over.

Well, starting over yes...single NO. We all have stuff w/us, wheather we put all our cards on the table or not, those issues are still there. I've decided to be the strong woman my momma rasied me to be. The focused woman the Navy instilled in me. The gifted wife God called me to be!

I love to read anything that will teach me something I can use in my everyday life. Not really into Love stories what have you. I have tons of Meomory Makers mags.& others laying around.

I can always watch a good CSI or anything having to do with Drama on t.v. I have a love for comedy and lately these reality show have caught my eye. Almost forgot about Top Chef, Bravo, Food, HGTV and DIY are mainly the only channels I watch. Unless I've taped something on the DVR...lol.

If you show me how to do it once....consider it done! I love to learn new techs....It's so bad that I've moved my craft space from the outside workshop to my master bedrm. Hey, I figured I'm single again...who cares..lol. My parents were artist so that's one reason I can't live a day with out creating or learning something about my passion (any form of art) or even the one I'm focused on at themoment. Today scrapbooking tomorrow sewing...who knows. What I do know is I take every little detail to heart.

In the pass I've had a small homebased business making all sorts of things, like candles,soaps,clothes etc. The area where I lived didn't really seem to want or need a candle, then again....I found that people just have a hard time understanding the time an artist puts into their work.

I love to embellish everything and anything. I realize that I'm not really caring for "Thoughtless" stickers thou- The ones where you just place a sticker just because... I have to keep my mind movin' so for me I use them from time to time...I love to see someones handwriting- I'm really getting back into doodling. I was doing that when I was a child. Now it has a "Name" and new tricks I just love learning them. The one craft I have to admit of not going full force with "Quilting". I've seen such beautiful work and I'm always telling myself, "Self, you can do it...just put your mind to it." p.s. just don't mess it up...lol. I even purchased a Singer Futura....the lady on QVC had me sold!

So now my new tech. is stamping, there's so much out there and we have a Micheal's and a Scrapbook store all in the same shopping center! For the first time in my life I experience heaven on earth everytime I go to Walmart or Target! It's a win win 4 me-

His name is Sekani. Our soon to be year old poodle. He was a gift to my daughter for her kindergarden graduation present. I tell ya, between the two of them (my kids) I can't remember the last time Sekani's had a lil me time. We also have a Lab named Babe. He lives w/my parents, after a few wks of having him we realized we are all sneezing because of Babe.

Mmmmm, don't really watch them like I use to. The last movie I saw was a Disney film 3yrs ago...lol. I have some great DVD's thou, but when I sit down to watch them I end up watching DIY, HGTV or something along those lines...

It's the last couple of days in Mar09. I'm still a newbie. So in time I'm sure my rating will go up! I hope that everyone in whom I swap with will feel the love inwhich I put into making my art. I love to share what I've learned, so if you wanna know what was used or where it came from, by all means email me- can't wait til you recieve your little treasure.

Colors that inspire me would have to be those of the seasons. I truly love a good theme. So most holidays I'm always on it. Easters around the corner so I'll be into spring colors...lol. Really not the picky-

If I have to choose I'd say White, I love a clean look when it comes to certain things. Like shabby chic, I could do that in one room of my house and have a urban kitchen, beachy master bed room.

Hopefully speaking about my style will inspire colors you choose when thinking of me. Almost forgot, shells are a must to collect everywhere I go. And I have to have a postcard!
