I'm a secondary school (high school) teacher, living with my partner and three year old daughter in Sheffield, UK. I have one cat - Boycat - and one rabbit - Tinsel.

I like knitting, baking and writing but I love looking at all types of crafts and lusting after them. I really love looking at art journals - they are so beautiful. When I've had a practise and built my confidence I'm going to try one myself I think!

I love murder mysteries (I've been accused of being low-brow on this one...) Val McDermid, Nicci French, Agatha Christie, Sophie Hannah, Minette Walters are some current favourites - I like British female writers so any suggestions grately appreciated (I'm not really into Ruth Rendell for some reason).
