Hmm... well..

I am a librarian born and raised in Alabama; although I bleed purple and gold. GEAUX TIGERS!

Ok, enough football babble. I love to craft; my absolute favorites are sewing and embroidery. I just discovered how cool it can be to be a domestic goddess (although I cannot cook, so I guess more like a goddess in training).

Also, I collect mid century stuff; all things 50s and kitsch--I love it--my house is my retro palace. I live alone with my wonderful cat, Mr. Grits; the only gentleman in my life right now--I plan on changing that very soon. Nobody wants to be the creepy cat lady librarian. ;)

I love hanging out with my favorite friends, listening to good music, eating great food, drinking great wine, and laughing....

Favorite cocktail: Gin and Tonic (extra lime)

Favorite food: raw oysters

Favorite movie: Raising Arizona ("Boy, you got a panty on your head.")

Favorite TV show: Mad Men (I am obsessed)

Favorite book: Way too hard to call (I am a librarian after all)

Favorite color: black

Favorite time of year: a total toss up between Summer and Christmastime. I can't say Winter, considering we do not have one down here.
