I'm at home mostly with my 2 girls aged 11 and 7. I work outside of the home often and very occasionally get cash for the work I do. Overall that works for me. I'm married to the most perfect man and he is happy to keep our little family funded through the work he does out side our home.

I like music. My taste is eclectic and I'm picky. Music really effects my mood so I can't listen to stuff I don't like. My old stand-by favorites include: Nina Simone, Bob Dylan, David Bowie and Lou Reed and the VU, the Clash, the Violent Femmes. I LOVE discovering new music.

For fun I knit socks and sew sock (I use fleece). I have also knitted and sewed hats and scarfs. Currently I've been sewing cuddly monsters. I take millions of pictures. Mostly of my kids. I have been paid a couple of times to take pictures at events. But mostly I've traded for my photo services.

I enjoy getting things in the mail other than catalogs and bills. It's delightful getting something personal in the mail.

I like crafty supplies like: glitter, paper, pipe cleaners, stamps. I like buttons and bits of ribbons. I like vintage stuff: old advertisements, postcards, photos. I like hair do-dads(my girls do too).

I don't like plastic very much. I don't like cutesie things. I'm not religious. I'm not interested in edibles (tea, candy, etc.)unless it's something really special to where you live. I'm super picky about smells so please no soap or candles.

I like cotton, linen and raw silk. I like synthetics if they have an interesting texture. I like prints from the 30's, 40's, 50's, 60's, and 70's. I like big bright stripes and big bright flowers. I don't care for calico especially little flower prints.
