I love to make scrapbooks, use rubber stamps, make cards, and other paper crafts. I also do bead work, make paper, and make potpourri. I like fantasy themes; wizards, dragons, castles, fairies, vampires, pirates, witches, etc. My favorite colors are green and purple. I am in a beginning quilting class. I'm currently scrapbooking books about my sons and great nephew. I use stickers, paper, markers, and all kinds of embellishments. I have an herb garden and dry herbs for food and to make potpourri. I love to cook. I wish I could knit. Maybe someday! I started making ATCs since I got involved with Swap-bot, and have offered a class at work to make them. I took a hiatus from Swap-bot for quite a bit of time. My life got hectic, but I am thrilled now to be back. I am a mother of three sons, ages 16, 17, and 24. The two youngest live with me; the eldest just recently moved out. My sweetie also lives with me. I work in human services, with adults who have developmental disabilities and with people who are homeless. I grew up here in Central PA. and have lived a few other places briefly, but like the mountains and forests here and also like being close to extended family. I like to go to Renaissance Faires, science fiction conventions, etc. I have been into science fiction since I was a kid.

I have four kitties and sometimes foster others. I help our local shelter whenever I can.

I like to swap postcards. I am really not picky about the kind. I like to see where you are from, interesting architecture, people (particularly writers and artists), animals, and I like the tacky free postcards from hotels. I don't know if hotels give them out any more, but I have some vintage ones. I like homemade cards, as well. I have started collecting postcards of U.S. presidents and maps of the 50 U.S. states, and would be thrilled if you sent me one of these. I still need the following state map postcards: Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Louisiana, Maine, Montana, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Wisconsin.

I love to read-- science fiction, fantasy, history (and historical fiction), classic literature, some mysteries..... I also like Russian literature. I have a B.A. in English.

I don't watch TV much, but like The Walking Dead, Dr. Who, Jessica Jones, Better Call Saul, Orphan Black, and Orange is the New Black. We don't have cable and I often go a month or more without watching anything.

I love-- cats, kids, books, craft supplies, photography, stationary and cards, fantasy themed stuff, green and purple and some blues that lean towards green or purple..... '60's and '70's nostalgic stuff. I also like pigs, Tasmanian devils, rabbits, and elephants. I like tea and chocolate, particularly dark chocolate. I love embroidery floss. I also like interesting scraps of paper and odds and ends for card making, ATCs, etc. I really like Graphics 45 paper. ANY craft supplies you no longer want I can use at work. So feel free to send them my way!

Styles I like include fantasy, steampunk, shabby chic, french country, bohemian, Asian, and vintage (this includes ATCs). I particularly like ATCs with animals, fairies, butterflies, birds, and other things with wings... I also like Paris and Asian-themed ATCs.

I collect Red Rose Tea figurines and other small items that I put in shadow boxes.

I can't think of much I dislike. Football. Some contemporary music. I have about 1,000 pages of flowered paper, and don't really need any more of that. (I tend to be able to use any craft supplies, because I serve about 60 people at work, and usually know someone who would like that particular item.)
