I'm a very lucky girl - married to a wonderful man named Ben and the mom to a beautiful little girl named Beatrix Lily.

We live in the beautiful Wine Region of British Columbia, Canada. Smack dab in the Okanagan, we're surrounded by vineyards and wineries. My days are spent looking after our little Bea, and trying to start/finish numerous craft projects. I'm a sewing beginner, plan on attempting crochet again later this year when my cousin from England is here to re-teach me, and I have a happy little jewellery shop on Etsy.

I love vintage and retro stuff. I think that comes from growing up with an antique dealer for a Mom :) I love the modern bold fabrics, bright colors, funky, geeky stuff. I was once quite stylish myself, but that was when I was single in the city. My cell phone ring is the tune from the 'Sex in The City' movie.

I don't know what else to say. I suppose I could have read some other profiles to get the idea, but this is more real, more me, just off the cuff.

I used to work in a bookstore, so to say I'm an avid reader would be an understatement. I like chick lit, Sophie Kinsella, Marian Keyes & Jennifer Weiner are my favs. I love stories about indian culture, biographies like 'Eat Pray Love' and 'Three Cups of Tea'. I don't read thrillers or sci fi or mystery.

I'm not really into chick flicks, but I LOVE the Sex in the City movie(s) - yet to see the 2nd one. Kill Bill 1 & 2, action, superhero stuff, animated flicks, they're right up my alley :)

I love fabric, paper, stickers proper stationery & note cards, yarn, patterns and postcards. I'm just starting to get into Kawaii items, and I LOVE deco tape :D
