I'm a girl from rural Australia that is really keen on making new friends with similar interests.

I don't have internet access at home so I can't log in more than once or twice a week when I'm at the library.

I have four gorgeous pet rats; Basil, Bertie, Birchal, and Roy (champagne variberk, agouti hooded, blue Berkshire, and black Berkshire respectively). They're cheeky little snots and I love them to bits.

I have fibromyalgia, asthma, allergies, arthritis, and I'm very hard of hearing.

I collect butterflies and teapots.

I have pierced ears.

I wear gloves a LOT, especially fingerless ones. I love matching my gloves to my scarf, hat, and/or bag.

I love brightly-coloured things.

I cook almost everything I eat, and I love kitchen gadgets. I'm always looking for more recipes, (especially ones that are allergy-friendly) and I'm getting quite good at inventing my own.

I am anaphylactic to nuts and peanuts (I am not allergic to coconut or pine nuts as they're actually seeds despite the name), apple, black tea (I'm okay with green, white, oolong, and herbal), all members of the nightshade family (tomato, eggplant, capsicum), latex, rubber, and silicone.

I have mild allergies to dairy, wheat, gluten, and artificial colours.

I have allergic dermatitis to gold coloured jewellery, wool, and many makeup products.

Anything with rats or mice featured in a positive way. (Or at all, really. I love them!) Butterflies. The colours purple, orange, and blue. Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse. Spiders. Romance/Love themed things Nudity/Sexually-explicit things Glitter (it gets everywhere and my boys try to eat it) Mentions of alcohol/drinking to excess Mentions of recreational/non-medicinal drug use Mint; peppermint, spearmint, etc. I'm not fond of the smell or the taste. Products that have been tested on animals.

If you're not keen on rats, that's fine and I respect that, but please do not say anything negative about my pets. I get enough of that in my daily life and I really hope that Swapbot will be a safe place for me.

I don't know if pet swaps are a thing, but I would absolutely love anything for my rattie babies.

~~Treats~~ Rats can eat just about anything that humans, birds, dogs, and/or cats can, which is pretty awesome. My boys don't have nuts (because of my allergies), dairy (rats are lactose-intolerant), or citrus (it causes kidney cancer in male rats).

Basil's favourite things: cereal, parsley, coconut, and things he can sit in. Bertie's favourite things: cereal, corn, bacon, and things to make nests with. Birchal's favourite things: cereal, carrot, things that make a noise when he pokes it, and things made of cardboard (he eats cardboard. good thing it isn't bad for him). Roy's favourite things: cereal, kumara, soy yoghurt, and things to climb.

I love making and receiving ATCs of all kinds! They're probably my No. 1 favourite thing to get.

I like to knit, though I'm not very good at it. I can't follow a pattern and I can't purl, so I usually either make scarves, hammocks for my pets, or things I can make by sewing squares together (blankets, toys, etc)

I'm trying to get into scrapbooking, but all the little pieces are very hard on my hands, so I welcome any tips!

Cooking is a huge passion of mine, and I love making and receiving recipe cards (filled in or blank).
