Hello all,

I am a pediatric occupation therapist by day working with special needs students from 3 years old to 22 in public school, and an art teacher by night working with adults teaching mosaics, stained glass, paper crafting, mixed media, and fusion glass.

If I am not participating in ocean related activities on my time off I am making something. I am always incorporating art in student activities. I really love functional art I recently made my first quilt. I had to pick the wave and make it like a scallop or like the scales on a mermaid's tail which is what I call it....Mermaid's tale. Wow, not one I would recommend for a beginner. Right now I am working on an outside concrete sea turtle chess board table. One of my most favorite pieces of art that I have made is my sea turtle manatee hanging lamp. It is 51 inches long and over my snack bar. My new passion is metal clay and silver smithing.
