I AM PLAYING CATCH UP ON RATINGS & SWAPS DUE TO NO COMPUTER/INTERNET ACCESS. I AM TRYING TO CATCH UP AS QUICKLY AS I POSSIBLY CAN, SO PLEASE BARE WITH ME!

**9/26 - I AM TAKING A LEAVE FROM SWAPBOT FOR AN UNDETERMINED AMOUNT OF TIME WHILE I CATCH UP WITH WORK, ETC. WHICH I DO ONLINE AND DID NOT HAVE INTERNET ACCESS FOR FOR A FEW WEEKS. NOW IT'S TIME TO PLAY CATCH UP AND FOCUS ON WORK, STUDIES, AND MY SON. THANK YOU TO ALL MY FELLOW SWAPPERS FOR UNDERSTANDING. I HAVE CAUGHT UP ON MY RATINGS ALSO, SO YOU SHOULD HAVE THOSE NOW. I am a 26 year old Ohio girl. Mommy to a 20 month old (Presley) a book reviewer & blogger, and most importantly a dreamer.

I long to travel the world one day. My son is my world, books are my second love.

I would love to be able to sew (currently ATTEMPTING to teach myself), and crochet something other than a scarf (ONE DAY! Γ°ΕΈΛœβ€ž) .

I write book reviews for authors who trust me to read their work and fall in love with it and I love what I do with a passion!

I also have recently start Tot School with my son.

Tastes - I love gummy candies - worms, bears, sour, sweet. Watermelon rings, peach drops, sunkists etc. I love Reese cups, lemon drops, & Butterfingers also.ҝ€

Comment: Really enjoyed reading your book list - had never heard of any of them before, definitely a couple of new books for me to check out. I've rated you a 5 even though this swap was late because I don't think people deserve to be penalised because of circumstances outside of their control! CL are bullies and need to realise that this is supposed to be fun and that electronics sometimes let us down.

Comment: UPDATE 09/26: Swap received & rating is changed to a 3 per prior comment. ~~~ 09/25: I've not received any communication about this swap, nor have I received the swap itself. While your bio says you're having internet issues, I see that your blog has been updated almost daily. I will rerate a '3' if I ever receive anything.
Response: I have a co-blogger along with two friends who have been posting in my absence. I send them my reviews via text message and have them update things for me as much as they can and when they cannot I sit at a McDonald's with while my son plays and update. I am behind on most things and am playing catch up. As much as I love SwapBot and my fellow swappers, my work and business come first and I need to catch up on those things before I can be an active participant on here. I have just had to have a new modem and all new phone jacks installed for my internet issues you seem to believe I do not have. But I will accept the 1 rating because I know that before these swaps and my internet issues I was a good and honest swapper. It's not my fault life gets in the way of things.

Comment: Last Update 9/26 ~ You COULD have got our addys when you posted your "no internet" comment on 9/11, you COULD have asked your blogger buddies to get those addys for you. You COULD have messaged anyone about it, instead of leaving a note on your profile. You chose not to. I commend you on starting to get through your ratings, but you are still missing ratings for 3 swaps and a total of 14 people. Update 9/26 ~ Swap has arrived. If life got in the way you should NOT have signed up for more swaps. I kept giving you the benefit of the doubt in CL and trying to be patient. You were in 6 swaps (prior to this one) sent a day or two late on 4 of them and never rated anyone (16 people!) for 4 of them. You have a pen and paper, I would have GLADLY received this swap via mail if your computer really was messed up. Plus, I was never contacted, you just put up a notice on your profile AFTER multiple messages sent your way. 9/25 ~ I never received this swap. Will re-rate a 3 if I ever receive anything. I'm disinclined to believe her saying she's behind on ratings/swaps due to no internet, since she's posting daily on her blog and keeping her GR updated.
Response: I didn't sign up for more swaps after I finished up my previous ones. I got my swaps out as quickly as I could considering at that point my internet was already touch and go. By the time these two came up my internet was completely out and had been out for awhile. How was I supposed to get online to get your mailing address when for WEEKS my internet was out until a technician could get out to fix all my phone jacks and replace my modem and even after that it had to have further repairs to replace to modem and allow me internet service? I have apologized numerous times and have tried to send out my swaps as QUICKLY as possible. Life happens! I cannot control when the internet is going to work, trust me if I could I would be the happiest person in the world because I am so behind on things it's not even funny and to be judged for things that aren't even in my control is wrong. I am finishing up sending my last swap and doing ratings and then I am taking a break from Swapbot. Up until this point I had FIVE star ratings, but instead of looking at that I am judged for things I can't miraculously fix. I'm not going to take backlash for things out of my control and if that means taking a step back from Swapbot, so be it. I would rather focus on finishing catching up on the things that are important and my family then be treated like this. I just hope in the future you treat fellow swappers with issues a lot better instead of hurting their feelings and being so negative after many apologies were issued along with the reason for swaps being late.
