About Me
I like to make things pretty. Primarily, I make jewelry and I knit but I will dabble in other projects here and there. I was raised by a very creative mom so I have been exposed to creativity all my life. ItΓ’β¬β’s just who I am.
I am in love with Europe. I have been to Italy and France twice. I really love Tuscany. If I can find a way to live there I will!

I like all colors, except baby pastel colors, not crazy about those. I really like pink. It's my inner girlie girl!
I'm not a scrap booker, but I do love the pretty papers and stocks. I use them for other projects.

I heart by Guitar, Bella! i'm not great at playing her, but I do love the guitar.
Music is my life. I don't have cable because I don't watch a lot of TV, my teenage daughter and I are both happy just listening to music when we are home.
Favorite Music
Lucinda Williams, Patty Griffin, Jem, Dar Williams, The Ting Tings, The Pierces, Emiliana Torrini, Keren Ann.
I have an Eclectic music style. I like the artists I have listed above, as well as hip hop, old school 80's and 70's, flaminco, classical guitar the list goes on and on. I especially like Indie Music.
Favorite Books
I am part of a challenge, 52 books in 52 weeks for 2009 so I will be doing a lot of reading. I like audio books so I can knit or commute and listen to books and I also read books when I'm taking a break from the knitting.

Books I've recently read and enjoyed: Friday Night Knitting Club, Bella Tuscany, The Reluctant Tuscan, Stitch and Bitch, Shop on Blossom Street, Garlic and Sapphires, Under the Tuscan Sun, Knitting Under the Influence.
Favorite Movies
Jane Austens Book Club, Catch and Release, Juno, Moulin Rouge, Rent.
Favorite Television
Coupling, Lipstick Jungle, Grey's Anatomy, Project Runway, Top Chef, Charmed. I love, LOVE Charmed! I have season 8 and plan to continue collecting the rest.
Favorite Crafts
Beading, Jewerly, Knitting, Metalwork. Knitting grounds me. It's something I do everyday and I feel lost when I am without it. Metalwork is living. Using my torch, sawing the metal, and smelling the pickle makes me feel so alive!
Wish List
I have seen wish lists on other profiles and thought I would start one. :)
Stickers! I realized today since I like to use stickers for the swap-bot partners I send to that I need MORE stickers!
Notecards: I also like to include notes on pretty note cards or paper to my partners.

Maybe it only has been 3 months but at least I followed through with each and every one of my swaps with no excuses for delay and no-sends. I would have been on Swap-Bot longer but it was the flakers that turned me off to what should have been a good experience. This has nothing to do with Karma. You did not follow through with your obligation.
Based on my history? And how long have you been farting around here? All of three months?
