I'm a doctoral candidate in Urban Education at Temple University in Philadelphia. I'm studying zines. I do some zines, "Emma Goldman" mostly, and love to trade- so get in contact. I'm a proud nmom of toddler Jack, who already loves Morrissey. I love to write, read, photography, baseball, , Holden Caulfield, Annie Leibowitz. 80s music is still all the rage. You know you're getting old when you find out the head vampire in "The Lost Boys" is a grandfather, and Madonna is writing children's books, what is this world coming to?

Likes: books (esp.cozy mysteries and young adult literature) , journals, herbal tea, chocolate, zines, things to make books, handmade items, jewelry, bags, toddler stuff, green, brown, pink, blue, funky, silver, peter pan, things that have to do with my interests.

Dislikes: coffee, anything with caffeine (chocolate is the only exception), gold things, red, I'm allergic to wool, so please no wool yarns/ clothes. Thanks.

EDIT: AT THE MOMENT, PLEASE NO MORE JOURNALS, POST-ITS, STATIONARY, ETC. This is all I get and I have WAY TOO MUCH. I'll never use it all and I've started going crazy. Seriously I have over 2 boxes full. The only paper product for the moment would be postcards I could send out. Thanks.

South Park, The Wire, Veronica Mars, Law and Order: Criminal Intent, SVU, 24, CSI, Monk, Project Runway, Old British Comedies (Faulty Towers, etc), British Mysteries, Seinfeld, Freaks and Geeks, The Sopranos, Deadwood, Prison Break, any good detective/crime crap (as my hubby Chris calls it- what does he know? he's obsessed with the history channel), or anything I find time for as a grad student. I'm a tv junkie.
