Hi, my name is Lisa and I love getting and giving things in the mail. Mostly I like making little works of art (ATCs) and I have traded on another site which does just that. :)

I have a daughter who is 23, who lives with me as well. She has a cat who is named Milo.

I have 1 cat who is a Siamese princess, named Belle.

ATC, postcard sized art, Journals, some sewing, painting are all crafts I enjoy.

I am teaching myself to sew a little at a time, and I am working on new mediums such as colored pencils, watercolors and photoshop.

The journaling, I only make for myself but I would like to learn more about making them and trading too.

I am also wanting to teach myself how to make dolls and more importantly, clothing for dolls, which I also enjoy collecting.

Last of all, I am working on various comic ideas, and hope to get those on the web one day :)

I am discovering new TV shows to watch, now getting into Dr Who, Torch wood, Warehouse 13, the various Stargate series, Once Upon a time, and more will follow I am sure. :) Oh Supernatural too.

Actually I think there are many more shows that I enjoy, especially if it has magic/ mysterious goings on or cool sci fiction stuff :) But once in a while, I like shows like Weeds, or Desperate Housewives....because they're kind of funny and dramatic and interesting too :)

I have also been known to watch Mash, CSI, Bones, Big Bang Theory, Vampire Diaries, Top Chef, Top model, Project Runway, Design Star, Star Trek of various carnations, and even more I can't think of right now :)

I do not know enough about music to list many things that I like. I feel sad but I've just never been adventurous when it comes to music. I generally like the Beatles, The Supremes and other oldies.

but I also like some quirky bands of more recent times, such as Smashmouth, and Presidents of the United States.

At the moment, I work at a place called The City Museum, in Saint Louis where I live. There is a restaurant in The City Museum and I actually work there, selling pizza and other foods.

Even though I like it, I think I would rather make my living a way that did not involve asking someone what they wanted to drink with their meal all day long. ;) I would like to make a living with art, but that will only happen if I stop being afraid to try to make it happen. It might not happen but...it really won't if I don't even try ;) Of course.

I am also taking an Illustration course and working toward a degree in Graphics communications, with illustration as the main focus.

On the side, I sometimes sell my crafts on Etsy. :)

FOODS: Chocolate: Likes:Milk chocolate, plain or with anything in it except mint and nuts or anything crunchy like rice.

I like Dark if it has some sort of fruit filling but not plain. If someone sens that to me, my mother will get it promptly.

Dislike: White chocolate. Bleh. just not my thing.

I like hard candies, and even more, chewy candy. Any candy that is chewy and soft, is the best, such as skittles = love.

I also like Gummies of any type

I do no like any candy that is banana flavored.

Blueberry, cherry, blackberry, peach are all flavors I do like.

I'm sure to add more if I run into any swaps that deal with food :)

And I have no allergies other than Avocado. At least the last two times I ate them, I happened to become very ill...so I think that was the reason ;) Plus I just don't like how they taste.

I don't have a lot of dislikes other than the ones mentioned above but if I think of any, I'll put them here later.

I love anything miniature, soft or stuffed. I don't even care if it's intended for a baby...if it's soft, I'll most likely like it ;)

I love dolls of all types and collect from a company called Jun Planning at the moment. I very much want then all ;) so I might have them some day. But I like barbies and Monster high and dolls that are similar too.

COLORS: I like blues, purple, blue greens generally. I like many colors if they fit the situation. And even though I don't like pink in general, I still dyed my hair pink and I like that. I'm just a complicated color loving girl ;) though I don't like pastel...in general. ;)

I like keys, buttons, hidden places, pockets, bookmarks, shot glasses, matches and lighters,stickers, stamps (I only have a few though) Unicorns, gryphons and other mystical animals, comic books and more things I'll think of later.

I'm sure there are other things that could be helpful in trading here. Since I haven't traded here yet, of course I will have to find those things I am allowed to join...at least until I prove myself and I want to do that very much...
