Suzanne! Just wanted to let you know that the resend for "International Big Fat Stuffed Envie Swap #11" is on it's way. Just got back from the post office. I sure hope this one reaches you!! I remember what all I put in the 1st one when I was stuffing this one. I would love it if you ended receiving both of them. I hate to see all those supplies go into hyberspace. :P Enjoy!
Hello! It's amazing how you and your daughter had that bond to cross stitch together :) I never heard of zentagles, but I do do ATCs if you ever want to do a one-on-one. I love that you collect postcards! I used to collect them myself. Hope you enjoy your day!

I was cool to tsee that you enjoy counted cross stitch. I have a frog counted cross stitch that I need to try to complete. I bought it to make for my mom, but I never sit down to do it.
Hello. I can see where you could get hooked on cross-stitching while in England. My girlfriend that lives near London has sent me many beautiful needlework kits in the past. I still haven't made them all =)
Like you I'm learning all about crafts I had never heard of before joining swap-bot. I had never made an ATC or altered matchbox before joining. Good luck on your zentagles.

So, is the postal strike going on? Has their been any progress made with getting the strike resolved? I imagine that's got to be more than a little frustrating!

Don't you love learning about new things on Swap-bot! Zentangles are fun and there are some free sites on-line that have tips/patterns. I love taking photos as well! Cross stitch is relaxing isn't!! It used to actually make me sleepy would I would do it bc I was so relaxed LOL I think it's awesome that you do that with your daughter - that's something she will carry with her for a lifetime. My daughter and I collect postcards together - we like to pull them out on occasion and look at them together. Have a great week!!
