its a little running joke now my FIL offers me some when he makes turtle sauce picante (a tomato based sauce ).. the first time he made it and I was there i look in the pot and see recognizable turtle legs floating around I was like thanks but no thanks LOL.. I don't eat squirrel either .. the Hubs knows when he kills some he takes it to his MOMMA to cook LOL
LOL that's not even close to adventurous! hahaha now.. some of the stuff my father-in-law makes with turtles and raccoon.. IM not going to eat that either..
Someday when u come to see me I want to fix some ethnic food for ya.. I won't make u eat okra but I have plans to make stuff like neck bones and gravy over rice... Sauce picante...catfish courtboullion :)
