I am an at-home mother of two great children and also a military wife to a wonderful husband. Now that the kids are both in school, I have found myself with some much needed time on my hands. I volunteer and craft, in between driving folks from one place to another, baking cupcakes, making costumes and all the other fun filled jobs that we at-home people do. I was raised by hippies along time ago before it was cool. :) Love the company of fellow earth muffins. We have four cats, yes four. Like most folks, we didn't set out to get that many, but couldn't say no to any of them as they came into our lives.
Beatles, Indigo Girls, Melissa Ethridge, John Denver (yes John Denver) :) Bread, America, The Carpenters, Billy Joel, Eagles, Jimmy Buffet, Enya, Carol King, Cowboy Junkies, Really all kind of music in small quanites, anything I can sing along with. Really love the sound of an acoustic guitar.
Anything and everything by Richard Bach, The Clan of the Cave Bear series, Mary Stewart, The Red Tent, Girl with Pearl Earing, The Last of the Amazons (GREAT BOOK), anything by Tom Robbins.
The Notebook, My Fair Lady, Grease, An Afair to Remember, Funny Face, Any classic movie really. All Monty Python and anything with David Spade. Labyrinth is one of my all time favorites, The Emperors New Groove cracks me up no matter how many times I watch it.
The Daily show, Star Trek ( all of them, reruns now of course), anything on HGTV or the History Channel
I love to sew, draw, make jewelry, work with clay (although I am still learning), crochet, make treasure out of trash, paper crafts, embroidery, painting and pretty much anything else I can get my hands into
I am a HUGE vintage sewing notion nut. If someone's Grandma used it I will LOVE it. I like the old energy in things. Buttons really float my boat. :) I like anything kitchy and off the wall. Love old paper bits and bobbles. Old junk jewelry that can be recrafted. Charms and glass beads I can always use. Any art work that is done from the heart. I love embroidery and vintage linens. I flip over whimsies, I even have a vintage toy machine in my kitchen just for them. :) Really like stuffies and creations from crochet. Homemade bags and anything at all made from trash. I love mushrooms, gnomes, hedgehogs and owls. I have an off beat sense of humor so love things that have a fun twist to them. My favorite colors are blues, greens and purples but I really like all colors. I like pinups and things that are sassy. Love vintage images and cards. I collect egg cups and thimbles. I love anything nature and goddess related. I love swaps, my children, my husband and my cats. All of these things are not in any order. hee hee Also really into mermaids and all things under the sea. Vintage sewing patterns and vintage style materials. Love wild fabric patterns and any small scrap of flannel I can get my hands on. I love the smell of roses, patchouli, lemons, orange, neroli, Nag Champa incense, I can't get enough of it.
Art for shock value, not talking about funny art, because if it is coming from a place of humor I am all about it. I am talking about gross or offensive art just to shock people. Also get really bummed if I spend time making something for someone or swaping with them and then get no thanks or even "it got here ok" Everyone likes a thank you for their work, especially if you are doing something to please someone, you want to know that they liked it. I don't care for the smell of vanilla, it made me deathly ill when I was pregnant and I still get a little swoony when I smell it.

Hiya, just came to check out your profile after reading your forum post and discovered you love the Clan of the Cave Bear series - aren't they fantastic books.
Give swap-bot a chance, I am growing to love it as much as I do Craftster, but it is very different. If you want to arrange a private swap to boost your ratings, give me a shout. I am sure we could find something to swap.
