-taking a short break this fall from swap not for 2 family vacations!
I always send and always rate, So please reach out if you havenโt received the swap or a rating from me. - I'm turning 40 this year, married for 14 years, two daughters, 2 dogs, full time administrator for a large business. Think of a combination of a secretary and HR for my work. I love my work. I was made to do administrative tasks. I'm lucky that I'm working a combination of in person and telework, so that is also a definite plus! We ended up in Utah for my husband's job, and I love it here. The big skies, mountains, and surprisingly progressive area. He'll retire from the Air Force next year, and we will stay here at least until the kids graduate from High school. I have had all kinds of jobs, from a Nursing Home CNA in high school, to a computer tech for the military. I also have worked for myself as an author and as a tarot reader. I am currently going through a papercrafting phase, but I do a little bit of everything. No sewing. No sewing. I suck at it. I love it though. And have a vintage sewing machine tattoo. I love the decor, especially vintage, but I just can't sew. I'll break a machine. I can't even hem my pants!
Good Girls, Lucifer, Buffy, Supernatural, Greys Anatomy. I enjoy a good British Comedy, Vicar of Dibley, Miranda and Friday Night Dinner. I'm sure many more on British, need recommendations! I've gotten more into limited seasons or miniseries the last few years, 6-10 episodes, and so there are many I've seen that I thought was the best thing ever, and then forgot about as the next big thing came my way. Newest show is Loki. I watch the Bachelor and Bachelorette, but not in the way you would think people watch it. If you listen to the podcast, Game of Roses, you know what I mean.
My Favorite Murder, Lore, Even the Rich(again, celebrity tell all stuff, love it), criminal broads, Unexplained, Conan Obrien Needs a Friend, Radio Rental, Spooked, Cults, Game of Roses, You Must Remember This, Chameleon, Dead and Gone, Lets Not Meet, Haunted Places, Unlocking Us, The Dark Side Of,
I have this memory of when my grandmother lived with us when I was a kid, sundays were letter days. She came from a family of 12 brothers and sisters, countless nieces and nephews, cousins, etc. and she would exchange letters with whoever wanted them. I didnโt have a great relationship with this grandmother, but these days were magical. Iโve been desiring to have penpals of my own, but my family connections have shrank over the years due to toxic energy in my fathers family, and my mom has a tiny family. Iโve tried finding penpals through groups on Facebook, but havenโt had luck when itโs come to getting letters back. A friend told me about swap-bot, and it seems like a much better way to gain connections. Letters, even when short, are so much more personal and full of great energy, compared to reading a message on a screen. If we only send a few letters back and forth, or if we start a lifelong friendship and letter exchange, I am grateful for your time. I will always try to place a few letter decorating or paper supplies in our envelopes. I love random pictures, words and designs from magazines or old books because I enjoy doing collage and altered playing cards. I love vintage paper, papers that look vintage, pages from books, interesting scrapbook papers, old letters, witches, animals, macabre (no gore) and sweet.
Labyrinth, Oscar(with Sylvester Stallone), Frozen, conjuring 1&2, Annabelle, White Christmas, Scream Franchise, Harley Quinn Birds of Prey, Cruella, Thor Ragnarock
Harley Queen (I collect HQ toys, decor, etc for my office) Witch everything and anything, green, Loki(Tom Hiddleston), Dean Winchester, Willow Rosenberg, Trees, Moon, Dolly Parton, black dogs, Hekate, junk jewelry necklaces, Conan OโBrien, Slytherin, She-Ra (new Netflix version), unexplained histories, vegetarian recipes, organizing, Pride, quotes, trees, the ocean, the forest, elephants, gorillas, Disney(especially villains) anything cute and spooky (scooby doo, ruby gloom, nightmare before Christmas, cartoonistized Spooky people from history,)
I listen to a bit of everything because my family members each have their own favorite genre. But when it comes to me, my preference, is rock from the 60s-90s. I also enjoy a good folk singer. I listen to piano and spa to sleep at night. Was obsessed with the Beatles in high school, (George!). Currently I've been listening to The Chicks new album.
Harry Potter, Stephen King, Eleanor and Park, LOVE a good celebrity tell all, which is funny, because I don't follow celebrity life/dating at all, but put out a tell all, I'm there for it. I listen to more books lately on my commute to work than I get a chance to read with my eyes. I'm also going through more of a listening to podcast phase. I love self-help, but like lighter selfhelp, and spiritual (i am a witch, spiritual not religious)
