Stay at home mom. We have three girls, 26, 17 and 6, and two boys, 23 and 20. The 6 year old has a rare chromosome disorder and is medically fragile and the 23 year old and the 26 year old are out on their own.

Married 9 years this year. (Yes, a blended family.)

Addicted to my laptop and yarn. I never go anywhere without some sort of crochet project. And I have umpteen projects in progress. I don't want to get bored on just one! :) I do like the little amigurumi but I have a hard time working with smaller hooks and small pieces. I LOVE making shawls and prefer the rounded edged ones over the triangular ones. I got enough of those in my granny dress phase when I was a teen.

I love soft feely yarns, especially bamboo and bamboo blends. I make a lot of afghans and I tend to stay away from yarns that are too "hairy" as our 6 year old has a trach and we don't want loose fibers causing a problem for her.

Favorite colors are pink and purple and baby pastels. Or black mixed with jewel tones! Combinations like pink and brown and pink and gray, black, white and red too.

I love old movies, goofy sci-fi (Mystery Science Theater anyone???)

I tend to listen to TV as background noise but it's usually on one of the Discovery or Sci-Fi or History channels so I can pay attention if something interesting comes on.
