I'm a 40 year old, happily married, busy mother to 12 year old twin sons. Between teaching English as a Second Language (ESL), laundry, cooking and cleaning I enjoy reading, baking, thrift store shopping, and crafts.

I love traveling and meeting people from around the world. I traveled all over Europe while I was in college. I have lived in Pau, France and 6 years in Japan (Kitakyushu & Nagaoka, Niigata-ken).

I love to read...books, magazines, newspaper, ads, catalogs, and even junk mail sometimes! :-)

My favorite books are To Kill a Mockingbird, Water for Elephants, The Kite Runner, The Time Traveler's Wife, The Secret Life of Bees, The Help....oh the list can go on forever!

My favorite magazines are FamilyFun, Woman's Day, All You, and Reader's Digest.

I enjoy watching most movies, except horror or heavy action/violence. I like movies that are based on true stories and/or leave me with a "feel good mood" at the end.

I rarely watch T.V. But I do like Big Bang Theory and Downton Abbey. I despise reality shows and re-runs.

I like crafts that are simple, frugal and cute. I also enjoy exchanging craft ideas for things that children can make and do. I have a new sewing machine and I am always looking for new projects to sew!

I love trying new and unusual foods, but my favorites are: sushi, curry, anything with pumpkin, spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger), lemon and chocolate.

My favorite cuisines are Japanese, Thai, and Mexican.

I love coffee (especially hazelnut) and tea (green, black, fruit).

I have twin 12 year old sons! (Yes, there is never a dull moment around here!)

Matthew loves tea, reading, robots, arts & crafts (especially ATCs and zentangles), science experiments, LEGO robotics, magic tricks, rocks and acting goofy!

Benjamin loves gadgets, music, TV, science experiments, LEGO Minifigures, Power Rangers, ninjas, samurais, cooking & eating, learning about people!
